      Kaos' Dream World

Ok, I've only been here at DV for a few days but I've read through a lot of the material and have started working on trying to reach a couple goals. As of now, this area will serve as an alternate dream journal so I can hopefully improve on my recall. I say alternate because I also have an actual journal that I keep by my bed, but since I take it to college with me to fill in the details later, one can never be too careful. Comments/interpretations are welcome and hopefully will cause improvement on my part.

Since I can't actual become lucid yet, I'm going to write down every dream that I can possibly remember, unless I get to the point of three or more per night.

      Color code:
      -Black - Me speaking normally
      -Blue - Common dream
-Green - Lucid dream (one can hope )

10/31/08: I remember two distinct occurrences, but they took place in the exact same room; the upstairs game room of my house.

      1. I don't remember much other than the fact that I was naked and searching for a pair of finger nail clippers. I was walking crouched down, embarrassed that I was naked and hoped no one would see me. Well there happened to be an ironing board leaning up against the banister and lo and behold there were two finger nail clippers on the ironing board (along with some other paraphernalia that I don't remember but assumed to be the ironing essentials like starch.) I picked them both up and examined them. One didn't properly "close" all the way and would make the act of actually "clipping" something rather hard so I put it back down on the ironing board. The other one worked fine though and I turned away. After this I don't recall anything up until another peculiar event happened.

      2. I was painting the upstairs game room pink for some reason. My mother was there as well and we were doing good time and would probably be finished in an hour or so. Suddenly I realized that we were painting around the furniture. This seemed odd to me so I asked why we hadn't moved the furniture out of the room before we started, because now there were going to be giant white spots on the walls if we ever moved the furniture. My mother responded that Dewey (a friend of the family) was going to be moving in with us and that he would have the game room as his room, and therefore it didn't matter if we did a good job painting it. (poor Dewey.) For some reason I accepted this now apparently lame answer and started sloppily glopping paint on the walls just to get done faster. My mother got annoyed with me and asked why I was doing that. She scolded me saying I should still do a good job. I woke up right after this to my alarm going off.

This happened after only two days of starting to look through lucid dream material, and I got excited thinking that I was making great progress to alredy remember a dream so soon after starting since my dream recall was terrible beforehand. Makes me sad that I missed an opportunity to become lucid though.

11/6/08: Alas, I was not to have another dream for close to a week. To top it off, I only remembered small details but a dream remembered is a dream remembered so I'll take what I can get. Again the setting was the upstairs game room of my house. (Recurring theme here possibly?)

      - My dad was sitting on the couch watching TV as I came out of my room. (This should have been a huge hint as my dad does not live with us anymore.) I started asking him questions about how to properly trade Pokemon via internet connections. I was worried that someone would cheat and send me the wrong thing. I pulled out a guide that showed which Pokemon could be traded. He started explaining about how I had nothing to worry about, but I woke up at that point.

Pokemon? Seriously? Let the bashing of my nerdiness commence . Anyway, again I missed an opportunity to become lucid. Hopefully, such easy opportunities occur frequently though .

11/7/08: Last night was very productive as far as remembering my dreams go. I remember four distinct dreams. None of which where I became lucid though.

      1. I was at one of those dine in movie theaters. I can't remember what the movie was, but it must've been fairly long because there was an intermission. As the intermission message scrolled across the screen, people stood up and began filing out of the theater, I presumed they were going to the restroom because why would you leave in the middle of the movie? Anyway, a waitress comes up to me and asks if I would like the meal now. I said no thank you, and thought to myself "It would probably be very expensive and I can't afford that." She looked kind of annoyed at my answer and asked "Are you sure?" I declined yet again and hoped she wouldn't become angry. She said something along the lines of "Fine then sir, your complimentary red wine will be out in a minute" and walked off. This surprised me and I wanted to call her back and say I didn't want the red wine (I personally find it to taste quite awful) but I thought since it was free, why not just take it? I don't remember anymore after that, but my alarm woke me up around 3:50 AM (I did do a RC this time) so I could try the FILD technique. Sadly I drifted back off to sleep without success and entered another dream shortly thereafter.

      2. I was upstairs somewhere in my friend Rob's room. (Another missed opportunity to become lucid as this room looked nothing like Rob's and his isn't even "upstairs.") He was playing some game on his TV but I didn't focus on that. Instead I started asking him questions about the forum that he is part of. I was curious as to what kind of forum it was and how I could be a part of it. He responded with something, but I couldn't understand him clearly. At that point someone called for me from downstairs so I headed for the staircase. As I was about to go down I stopped and looked back and asked him if I had the name of the site correct. He laughed and said "You fail at the internet! It's not ~.com, it's ~.blacknight!" (~ means insert anything because I can't remember the actual name of the site we were discussing.) I can't recall anything after this until my alarm once again woke me up around 6:00 AM (another RC proved I was awake) so I could try a WBTB method. I got up went to the restroom and wrote down what I remembered thus far. About 13 had passed so I laid back down. (I only waited 13 minutes because the last time I tried the WBTB method I stayed up for an hour and couldn't get back to sleep, so now I'm trying at different intervals.)

      3. For the life of me, I cannot remember for certain who I was with, but I'm sure it was my old friend Megan. (Haven't seen nor talked to her in about a year.) Anyway, we were apparently doing some experiment for our class (huge indicator or a dream once again slipping through my fingers) and we needed a truck. So we were walking through some parking lot when we found this Mexican lady. After talking for awhile she was nice enough to loan us her truck. She even signed a piece of paper saying that we had full ownership for the day and yet she was responsible for all damages done. My first reaction was "Sweet, let's ramp it somewhere!" But I calmed down and I got into the passenger seat while Megan got into the driver seat. As we started up the engine I could see the lady and her two children walk away. At this point I remembered that we needed something from my car for the experiment so I point in the direction of my car and say go that way to my car. Instead of doing what a normal person would, Megan starts plowing through the parked cars. At this point I'm holding onto the door handle and the side of my seat for dear life while screaming "What are you doing?!" She doesn't deign to respond and just keeps picking up speed and keeps ramming into other parked vehicles. Eventually we fly past my car and she doesn't even glance to the side. After a few minutes of us still careening out of control down the parking lot we reach the street and we start driving down it. After a few more minutes she asks, "Why aren't we to your car yet?" I tell her that we passed it awhile ago and I was just too frightened of crashing into something more damaging to say anything. At this, she whips the truck into a U-turn but loses control and we end up slamming sideways into a tree in a field near the road. The airbags deploy, but surprisingly neither of us was hurt. The bed of the truck absorbed most of the impact so we climbed out unscathed. Almost immediately policemen started arriving on the scene. I remember thinking "That was fast." Instead of arresting us like I thought they would, they walked up to us and said "Don't worry, we've got the paper that the lady signed. We have her in custody in that gas station across the street." Both officers then went to examine the damage to the truck and Megan started walking towards the gas station. I start to follow her, but wake up in bed. I don't know whether this was a FA or I actually woke up. Either way I forgot to do a RC and just laid back down to sleep some more.

      4. This one I don't remember a whole bunch about, but it started in the very same gas station I was walking towards at the end of the last dream.I walked inside and noticed stairs leading up to a second level. (2 stories in a gas station? ) Anyway, I walked into a very neat room. After waking, the lay out of the room reminded me like something out of those mafia movies, but that didn't occur to me at the time. There were five people in suits gathered around the table in the middle of the room, whispering furiously to each other. On the table were huge oval shaped spheres. Upon closer examination I realized they were some kind of egg. At this point the people notice me and wave me over to participate in the conversation. Apparently the eggs were some kind of alien species and the people were talking about how to destroy them before they hatched so the human race would be safe from harm. They mentioned something about a church and that it was the only place where the eggs could be destroyed. The next thing I remember is that it's sometime during the night and I'm in a van with two of the guys from the room. A few of the eggs are rolling around in the back of the van. I look out the window and notice that we are tailing the another van that must have the other three guys and the rest of the eggs. At some point along the road, our van got separated from the other at a red light while the other van went through before it changed. At this point, the driver gets nervous at being separated and I realize that the guy not driving seems very suspicious. He keeps glancing at his partner and then back at the eggs. After a few minutes we reach the church. I get out of our van and notice the van is empty next to ours. The church completely quiet and everything is still dark. Even the moon doesn't provide enough light to really see by. The guy that was driving grabs up the eggs and slowly pushes his way through the front door of the church. The suspicious guy glances at the doors, then calmly leans against the back of the van, like he has no intention of going through the doors. Suddenly, I had an epiphany. This guy was actually in league with these "aliens" inside the eggs! As soon as I realize this, I hear a scream from inside the church and I whip my head around to stare at the doors. The dream fades then while the scream permeates the night. I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I think that my brain interpreted the alarm clock as the guy screaming in the church, but what do I know?

Anyway, I've caught up on the dreams I've had thus far since starting to keep a journal so entries from now on won't be quite as long winded. I do have a question though for anyone who actually reads this. Is it natural to go from not really being able to remember dreams all that well, to remembering four dreams in a single night like last night? Thanks in advance to anyone to looks through the jumble of my mind.

11/8/08:Back to not remembering much I guess.
-All I can recall is that I was in a classroom learning Physics terms from someone. I know it wasn't my actual Physics teacher but I can't remember who it really was.

Well in the interim since my last post, I've had three exams so I had severe cases of test anxiety which in turn probably influenced my recall. I only remember things from two nights so here it goes.

      11/11/08:
      1. I was in a huge gymnasium full of people playing racquetball. I needed to get to the exit so I looked around quickly to find a way out and in so doing noticed that the coach and two other people were staring at me from across the gym. I found the exit in the opposite direction from the coach and the two people so I started running for it. I was dodging in between the people playing and almost getting hit by the flying balls. (Weird sentence.)

      2. I was in a candy shop arguing with the clerk over the price of a sugar cane thing. (Can't really remember what it was, maybe a pixie stick.)

      3. Something about Stewie from Family Guy. Don't remember much else.

I seem to have a lot of trouble remembering things from the middle of the night. I see people saying to just write down keywords and then fill in the details later, but I still have trouble remembering even with the keywords. I may have to write down everything right when I wake up in the middle of the night.

      11/14/08:
      1. I was in a room where a party of some sort was going on. I was talking to a girl who was seated near the door. Suddenly I noticed a really strange, white spider was on her shirt and was spinning a web around her torso. I pointed this out to her and she freaked out and flicked the spider off and it landed on me. Well, I have a great distaste for spiders so I start flicking at the spider trying to get it off me. In the end I don't know whether I got the spider off or not, but I had the sticky web all over my arms and I kept trying to pull it off.

      2. I was in the same room as above with a party going on. (Don't know if it was the same party.) I called one of my friends but don't remember what we talked about. Then everyone started asking me who I was talking to. I left the party and turned out of the parking lot onto a one way road but turned in the wrong direction. Luckily no one was there, so at the end of the road I turned onto the major street and started driving somewhere.

      3. I was playing a game (chess/checkers something like that) with my step-father on a hilltop overlooking a town. Suddenly a dark veil started off on the horizon and swept from left to right. As the veil covered the town I felt a deep sense of dread and knew that the town was doomed.

11/17/08: Not much at all I'm afraid. I've been finding myself feeling so exhausted when I go to sleep, and I assume this causes me to sleep more deeply and thus forget my dreams.

-I remember seeing Dick Cheney and Arnold schwarzenegger making out . Definitely not what I wanted to wake up remembering but at least it's better than nothing.

I keep my dream journal and a pen/pencil beside my bed in case I wake up from a dream. Please read my DJ and feel free to comment.

11/19/08: Two separate dreams but not that vivid.

-I was at some store like Wal-mart playing a very old school game at the demo set up area. Think it was Mario but it looked wrong for that. My dad was asking me if I was going to be busy playing for awhile while he shopped.

-I was on a gaming forum and the calendar said every Friday was "Banhammer" day for this one mod who went on rampages.

-I was in one of those 15 passenger vans going to a college function of some sort with my peers. When we got there, I went inside (as I was the spokesman for our group) and waited for the dean to call us in. After he called me in he seemed rushed and unamused. He said "You have one minute to convince me." So began my shpeal as to why I thought we would make a good addition to his campus and that he should accept us. Not only would he keep interrupting me, but my classmates would also come in at random intervals and try to add something to my argument. After I explained everything he just kind of stared at me and said with a little smirk on his face, "I'm still not convinced so I'll give you another 3 minutes. Go!" I felt frustrated and ended up trying to ask him a question but woke up to my alarm at that point.

Heh, getting into the college I want isn't what has me worried. But yes, anxiety probably played some role in that one.

      11/22/08:

-I don't remember where I was but it seemed like some kind of hardware store. My drafting instructor was seated at the front behind a desk, which was good because I needed to ask him for some more drafting triangles. After I asked him if I could borrow some, he complied and led me towards a side door. This door opened into what looked like a never ending hallway full of doors. (Now that I think back on it, it reminded me of The Matrix: Reloaded where Neo and Morpheus were in that white hallway full of doors, except my hallway was dark brown.) Anyway, he led me to one door and opened it with his keys, and inside were hundreds upon hundreds of drafting triangles hanging from the walls and ceiling. However, these triangles were not like the ones I have, these were humongous. Easily the size of a backpack or a laptop. As I was staring at them in surprise at their size, my instructor managed to get up to the second floor. (Not sure how he did it, because I didn't notice a ladder ) At that point he asked me if I was ready, then started tossing some triangles down at me. Upon catching the first one, I realized that every single one of them was not only abnormally sized, but incredibly filthy. All of them were covered in dust and grime and I felt my face set in a grimace of distaste. Normally, I only use two triangles in drafting, but the instructor kept throwing more down, and my dream self kept catching them and apparently didn't think anything out of place with having a small pile of twenty or so triangles. I then awoke to my brother barging into my room. Ass.

11/25/08: I'm not sure what to do anymore. If I wake up from a dream and try to write down the entire thing, I find myself unable to fall back to sleep. If I wake up and just jot down the key points, I find myself not being able to remember a lot of information. This is just really frustrating.

      - I was meeting up with one of my friends in an alleyway behind a mansion. We snuck inside through a back door and met up with my cousin and uncle. We then went over our plan. (At this point I could feel the tension. Nervousness, excitement.) We quietly split up at this point and I went towards the kitchen of the mansion. I remember passing by these huge double doors made out of mahogany. From within I could hear what sounded like a church service, and as I looked around outside the doors, there were several pews up against the walls. Once I got to the kitchen it was dark and no one was around. The kitchen was laid out like those found in some restaurants, where there were just rows of stove tops and cutting boards. Through the creepy silence I quietly padded my way towards the stove tops and turned all of them on as high as they would go. I could feel the intense heat and the light was blinding in the darkness. I knew that I still had other parts of my plan to accomplish and that I needed to hurry up before the master of the mansion found us. I woke up feeling sick at this point and had to rush to the bathroom to throw up.

This was the first time that I actually remembered how something "felt." The heat coming off of the stove tops was palpable. Cool stuff, I just wish I could've stayed in the dream longer. Same with the emotions. I know I felt emotions before in several of my other dreams, but those were like memories of an emotion. When I woke up, I could actually feel the exhilaration. Up until the point I felt sick anyway .

Well, I've been busy what with the Thanksgiving holidays and studying for finals at college. Losing my wallet was also a stressful detriment to dreaming. Anyway, I sadly only have a couple days worth of dreams since I last made an entry but any dream remembered brings me closer to my goal.

      11/27/08:

-I walked into an auditorium classroom that are used for lectures at universities. The auditorium was not yet filled with students, but as time passes more people kept coming in and filling the seats. I had walked in from a door up near the front of the room and had to walk in front of the class to get to a seat. The normal awkwardness of such an act that I typically have wasn't present. As I sat down near the front to wait for class to begin, I saw my brother coming in. Right when my brother sat next to me, another person that I hadn't noticed sat on my other side. It was Carol, a girl who I had been crazy about back in highschool. I sat dumbfounded thinking "This can't be true, she moved to Ohio." Unfortunately, my brain did not connect this to it being a dream and I stopped caring about the impossibility of it and just accepted it. The three of us chatted until class started. The instructor started going over certain elements found on the periodic table. I had already taken Chemistry so I knew what he was going over, this freed me to continue talking to Carol during class instead of questioning why I was there in the first place if I'd already had the class. Eventually class ended and I don't remember anything else up until we were in the parking lot. My brother got in his car and me and Carol stood by ourselves. We said goodbye to each other and I got in my car, put it in reverse and drove off. The dream didn't end there but I can't remember anything that happened afterwards.

      12/1/08:

-I don't really remember much except that I know I grabbed a dream character by his head and just ripped him in half down the middle like he was made of paper.

      12/8/08:

-I was driving in a car with a lot of refugee type material in the back. It was late at night yet there was an slight orange tint to the blackness of the night sky. In my dream I knew this was because an apocalypse type setting and that everyone on the crowded road was just trying to reach the safety of a town since theirs was destroyed. As the traffic slowly inched forward I saw a main reason for the slowdown. Up ahead was a blockade where police officers were stopping and questioning the flow of people. When I finally got up to the blockade, I rolled my window down slightly and one of them started speaking to me. I just stared blankly at him without answering any of his questions. He looked annoyed and called over another officer who also started asking me questions, such as "Where is you're family?" and "Why are you heading this way?" At this point I hit a button on the radio, and a translator started converting the questions the officer asked into Spanish. As soon as they realized this, they motioned over a female officer who started asking questions in Spanish. Well I don't know any Spanish . I assume that my dreamself at that point was just bored and wanted to get through because I accelerated and tore through an opening of the blockade. The Spanish female officer however clung to my car from the window and was shouting at me to stop and go back. Instead of complying, I started swerving side to side until her grasp was broken and she flew off. Luckily, there was no traffic on this side so I kept driving for some time before I saw the next city rise up before from the ground, untouched and unsoiled by the apocalypse that had caused so many people to rush to it for safety. At the same time I noticed that there was again, tons of traffic leading into the city. Well I would have none of that, so I accelerated even more and careened into the shoulder lane, effectively bypassing loads of traffic. Not really sure what happened here, but I ramped off something and landed in the 3rd or 4th floor of a very fancy and expensive parking garage. I slowly went around on that floor and pulled my car in and started walking towards the stairs. I was accosted by a small officer (about Danny Devito's size) who had apparently seen my stunt. He led me over to the small station on the same floor. Oddly enough, the staircase down was right next to the office, so at the last moment I leaped towards the stairs and managed to get to the first floor before the officer managed to attach himself to my back. The added weight was too much and I stumbled down the last few stairs into where a banker of some sorts was helping a woman customer. They just stared at me and the officer in surprise. The officer then got off and told the banker to watch me, that he needed to go get backup for me. I slowly got up and looked around. There were those fridge things that you find in grocery stores and gas stations along the wall. I walked over to it and sensed the banker and woman following me. I opened a door and took out an applesauce and looked at it for a second before putting it back and getting an actual apple instead. For some reason I could tell the woman was staring in open interest and as I turned back to them, I heard her say something like "He is utterly delicious." As I bit into my apple I thought I could use her as a method to get away from the officer since she was infatuated with me, but my alarm went off.

-Someone was showing me pictures of cats or something and I was staring into their eyes, getting lost in the depths. And there was depth, I felt myself falling into them as though they were a window into a different plane. There were twelve cats in total and each had slightly different colored eyes. When I fell through ones eyes, I was greeted by a panoramic view from a mountaintop of just what exactly made up the color of each eye. Before me stretched one of the most beautiful scenes akin to Lord of the Rings vast fields of green, flowers of deep purple, the sun setting low on one section and casting a deep burning orange, sparkling blue water. And yet off to the right, there was an ominous black cloud shrouding an even darker mountain. I got chills just looking at it and realized that this was why one cat had black eyes. As I was pulled out of the plane I was shivering from how creepy that last view was and I heard from behind "Yeah, that mountain took me forever to get properly but I think I did well and it suites that cat."

-I was downstairs late at night at some house that I thought was mine and looking through the fridge. For some reason there was only strips of sausage in there so I decided to go back upstairs. On the way I noticed my step father coming around the back side of the stairs and hurried around trying to keep him from noticing that I was up at such an hour. I succeeded in keeping him from knowing I was up, but as soon as I got upstairs my little brother was waiting and asked "What are you doing up so early?" I didn't answer. Don't remember anything until later. We were in my room doing something and eating sandwiches when I heard a noise from outside. I looked out the window and saw my other brother unloading a car, so we went downstairs to help him. As we were helping, I saw my step father and remembered that I was supposed to give him a message. So I said "Hey Amy wants you to call her, she's been looking for you."

-I was with my friend Kent in a high security electronic store. Anyway, we were evading capture by the guards by running around doing parkour style movements. It seemed like we were doing it merely for fun instead of any other serious reason because we stayed and for as long as possible and just taunted the guards.

-I was with Kent again at a club of some kind. We were passing the time just chatting and drinking amiably when the hostess came up and told us our car had been towed due to the courtesy of the two girls in the corner. That's a terrible way to show affection. Anyway, I started freaking out because we had no way to get home other than calling my parents whom I did not want knowing I was at a club. Eventually I caved in and called them and true enough, they were pissed but agreed to come pick us up.

-I know this dream encompassed a lot more than I can remember but here is what I can recall. Me and my friend Rob were part of a syndicate involved in a revolution. We were in a little boat in a channel similar to those found in Italy. We were discussing the properties of some kind of liquid at a certain temperature and trying to figure out what quantity we would need. In the end Rob whipped his phone out and told me to call "Victim." Apparently he had gone to school with us although I had no clue who he was. I called and asked him how many canisters of the liquid would fit in a refridgeration bin if we pumped so many Joules of energy into the liquid per canister. Ultimately, he didn't know either though and we hung up. By that time Rob and I had reached our destination, an underground hangar of some kind were thousands upon thousands of bottles, cans, and canisters of fluids were stored. Crates and refridgeration bins were everywhere stocked to the brim. We looked to each other and nodded and got to work replacing canisters with our own special liquid we had brought. Eveyrthing worked out in the end and we had no extras. As we were leaving Rob called my attention over to a certain refridgeration unit. Someone had recently changed out the milk inside for energy drinks and had done a crappy job of disguising it. I coldn't help but laughing at how piss poor of a job it was. At that point, a pair of guys stepped out of the shadows. One had a beret on with a long greasy, blonde ponytail and several days growth of beard. The other stayed in the shadows just enough so that I couldn't see his face. The ponytail guy looked at us, then at the refridgeration unit behind and then asked "So what do you think of our handiwork?" As I was about to respond, a third guy came down the nearby stairwell. He glanced over the situation and spoke in a mocking, condescending tone "Still playing childish pranks on missions eh?" The ponytail dude suddenly looked abashed and at that moment I realized that this was the leader of our syndicate. I woke up at that point.

-I had my luggage packed for a vacation trip. As I walked outside to place them in the car, my mom opened the driver door and stepped out holding an Australian Shepherd. I moved in closer to try to pet it but it started growling at me like I was a menace.

-I was in a living room with Amber, Ashley, their two brothers, Crystal, and Luis. I was trying to show them basic martial arts techniques in order to fend off people who tried to grab them in different ways.

      1/2/09:

-There was some kind of power outage and me and my friends drove over to Best Buy so my friend could use the Restroom . Once there we had to wait for them to get enough police help to open the store, but even with them in there people were still stealing things. This made me realize I could get away with it, so I searched the store for awhile and eventually grabbed a 360, a RB kit, a game, and something else and just waltzed out the door with the huge bundle in my arms. As I was walking out though, Alex, who was a friend of mine way back in grade school was waiting. He stopped and looked at me like he was surprised and said, "A shift has occurred." As soon as he said that, the dream seemed to take on a panic tone. I started freaking out and ran towards my truck, leaving my friends behind. I could hear shouting going on behind me but I didn't even slow. I got in the truck and sped home but once I got there I realized everything I grabbed wasn't really what I thought it was. The dream ended on that realization.

-Whoah, lots of weird stuff here and not sure how it all correlates but here we go. I was at college with two people. As we were going inside I noticed one of them was missing, so I went back outside and looked around. Everyone that was hanging outside the entrance didn't know where the guy had gone. I raced over to the corner of the building and sure enough, the guy had fallen into this pool like quagmire and was stuck at the bottom and was suffocating fast. I quickly pulled him out saving his life. Later I was with my brother and my history professor trying to find out out extra credit assignments were available. Something about Spetznaz. After that I was back at my old high school cleaning out my locker that was filled with moldy things since no one apparently had opened it since I left for college. And then there was something about Star Wars and Samurai but I can't remember what the hell that was about.

-Well it had something to do with a virus that polluted the water supply and the entire world had become infected. I remember being in some kind of a meeting hall listening to a speech about what we had to do as a nation so we could prevent us as a species from dying out. I didn't care about it and wanted to get to my computer. Well in the middle of the speech, I guess a bomb went off nearby cause the windows just exploded all over us covering us in glass shards. At that point Jim Carrey came in and started using the glass shards to make weird faces at everyone. Then after that I was in an office with my grandparents including my deceased grandfather. They were cleaning the desk off so I could put important "life saving" equipment on it and my grandfather turned to me like he didn't know who I was and said "I miss you" and then walked away. I didn't pay much attention to it in my dream and kept stacking stuff on the desk until I decided I'd had enough, so I got on the computer and talked to Amber. After this I don't remember much other than more explosions and the fumes from them looking like demons.

I apologize for being busy with college and not posting anything. That said, I've not had many dreams anyway.

      1/23/09:
-This was really more of a nightmare then a normal dream. I woke up in bed and wanted to find Amber. I got dressed and started calling people trying to find where Amber was. The only problem was, no one knew who she was, much less where she was. Everyone I asked thought I was crazy, asking for a non existant person. I become really confused and scared since I couldn't find where she had gone. Finally I drove over to her place and started asking her family where she was. That too resulted in failure. Not even her own sister knew who I was talking about. It was as if Amber had just disappeared from the whole world and no one even knew who she was. I woke up feeling terrified that I'd never be able to find her.

      1/27/09:
-The setting is post apocalyptic. The land was barren and everything was dead, the sky and landscape seemed a burnt orange mixed with brown. The first part of the dream involved running through a forest filled with dead trees with Amber. We kept glancing behind us and I could feel that she was scared about what was chasing us. The second part of the dream involved me seeking refuge at my Grandmother's house, which had been turned into a safe haven of sorts filled with ragged and run down people. The only way to spend the night though was to pay the "leaders" of the house. They requested only 50 cents though so it didn't seem bad at first until I realized the only way to get money in this world was by killing someone. Every person you killed you get one cent. With this thought in mind I reached into my pocket and found hundreds of coins. I slowly counted out 50 cents and then kept going until I reached $1.50 and handed that over to the leaders while pocketing the rest of my money. They looked shocked and scared and the other refugees slowly inched away from me like I was some dangerous, diseased beast. They stammered that I was welcome to stay the night and led me to a dirty mattress on the floor next to a partially torn down wall. I sat down and huddled in silence, wondering why I had so much money and wishing that the people at the house didn't think I was some maniacal killer.

      1/30/09:
-There are three separate parts to this dream. The first part was about me walking around my college campus talking on the phone to Amber. I don't remember the conversation but during it I realized I was being followed by someone. With this in mind I ended the conversation and headed towards the tallest building around. I dashed into the building and headed into the elevator, noticing as the doors closed that the silhouette of the person following me was walking through the doors of the building. I went up sixty floors to the top and when I walked out Nayssen was waiting for me. The floor was unlike a normal college campus room, there were deer heads and other similar knick knacks hanging on the walls. Nayssen suddenly had a basketball and we decided to go play some hoops. So we walked out a door to our right and entered a parking lot. From the 60th floor. Didn't notice that at the time. The second part of the dream involved being at my night class. I don't remember much except I was walking through an empty classroom and then down a dark, creepy hallway. Finally I got to my car and drove home. The third part involves being in an apartment complex near a river. My dad, his room mate, my uncle, and some of their friends were fishing at the river. My dad asked if I could go grab him something from the apartment. As I was walking, a storm swept out of no where. The clouds were dark black and there was heavy wind. As I neared the apartment, I noticed a helicopter above, circling the complex looking for an escaped convict. When I got inside I got some Tylenol then started playing a card game with some of the people that were there.
