It seems you have found my dream journal. Lucky you. Have some oreos and sit down.
04/31/09-Lucid Dream, WILD
This lucid dream was quite brief, but it was my first self-induced, so it was still very exciting for me. I was laying in bed in he mroning and decided to try having a lucid dream. I had MANY failed attmpts, but finally, I got to that weird place between being asleep and awake. I just lay there in a sorta daze until somebody said, "C'mon! Try getting up! Nothing bad will happen." So, I started getting up, fully expecting to get up in the real world. Instead, it was like waking up in some surreal version of my bedroom. I couldn't see very well, because it was too dark. There was a deep, buzzing noise and moving felt like walking through mollasses. Eventually, I stood. A friend of mine was in there too, but her face was distorted and she kept making weird gurgling noises. I knew I was dreaming, so I ignored her. I was very excited I was in a lucid dream. So excited, I woke myself up. I was extremely angry, but also extremely happy, because even though it was brief, the dream was a breakthrough for me.
05/01/09- ALMOST a lucid dream, WILD
This is pretty lame. I WILDed, started dreaming, tried to get up, but accidently moved my real body instead of my dream one and woke up. 0__0
05/02/09- My first lasting lucid
After a day of learning and experimenting with sleep paralysis, I decided in the morning to try WILDing again. Thanks to various tips and tehniques learned on his website and on youtube, once I started dreaming after SP, I was able to get up with my dream body instead of my real one (with the help of some dream characters). I dreamt I was in my room, only the ceiling was higher and the room was bigger. I knew I was having a LD, and was so excited and happy, I leaped off the bed. Too my surprise, instead of falling, I jumped higher than expected and floated back down. I played with this new found 'moon jumping' technique. I remember I was having trouble getting around due to the fact I'd step and jump higher than I was supposed to. Another dream character (this one sounded like the aristocratic king in children's movies) helped me learn to control my 'flight.' It was good fun. I kept jumping up and bumping my head on the ceiling. It was very funny and I hope it will help me when I learn to actually fly in my dreams.
After the moon jumping lesson, I wanted to explore the rest of the dream world and I thought it would be funny to bring a towel with me, in reference to A Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. So, I went to my mom's office and asked my dream mom where the towels were. She said something like, "Not now. We're leaving soon."
Not that I cared. I was about to leave to look for a towel, when a picture of my mom caught my eye. I tried inspecting it closer by squinting one eye, but this caused me to open an eye in real life and I woke up. Bummer.
