      A Logical Dream Journal.

Hi, I'm logicalmale. Well, my real name is Mathew.

Anyway, I'm really new to Lucid Dreaming and I've decided to keep a Dream Journal of all the dreams I can remember.

Because I am new, I have so far accomplished no monthly or annual tasks. And I have only had one LD, which could hardly be called a Lucid Dream.

Thank you for taking an interest and reading about my dreams.

      Dreams recorded so far:

      My First Lucid

A Disturbing Visit From An Old "Friend"

      He Stole My Thunder

      Pants

      A Stranger's Kiss

      My Broken Heart

      My Lost Dog

      The Wallet

      My First Lucid

      This dream is LUCID:

I don't remember much of it. My brother and I are at the gym, he is on the treadmill while I am sitting on the floor next to him, casually talking to him. Suddenly, he turns into Eddie McGuire, running on a treadmill while asking me the million dollar question on "Who Wants To Be a Millionare". I think to myself..."Is this a dream?....I think it is!", however I cannot control anything I do or say and I shout "OH MY GOD! I DID IT!" And I then woke up, happy to have what could be considered as a lucid dream.

A Disturbing Visit From An Old "Friend"

      This dream is NOT LUCID:

I am lying on my bed in my room, eventually, moving onto the computer, but as I do, there is a knock at the door. It is a girl who has had a crush on me for a long time, but I never liked her. She greets me and thanks me for inviting her over, although I never recall doing so.

After a while of sitting and awkwardly chatting, for some reason, I decide to make a move on her, which is followed by a slap on the face and a firm "no!". For a girl who says that she loves me, she sure is resisting. Some time later, she says that she need to go to the bathroom, and apparently it feels normal to me that she spent an hour there. Once I decide to investigate, I walk down the hall and see her lying on the floor, passionately kissing my father. They stand up, shocked and frozen, like a deer caught in a headlight. They apologize to me, and as they do, I wake up.

      One weird dream...

      He Stole My Thunder

      This dream is NOT LUCID:

I am at one of my games at cricket. I myself am sitting on the sideline of the field after getting out for a measly 1. As I sit there, I watch the wickets tumbling, beating myself up about that happened. However, our last batsman manages to score a hundred runs in a glorious innings, as I sit, watching in jealousy.

I woke up as he made his century.

P.S. This is scarily close to what happened the day before this dream. While playing cricket, I got out for one and our team collapsed after we passed the other teams total and won, however our last batsman played a short but impressive innings ending up on 18 not out.

      Pants

      This dream is NOT LUCID:

I am getting ready to go to a party and while doing so, for some reason I try on some absolutely ridiculous looking pants and I love them. As soon as I get into them, I become obsessed with them, these ugly, horrifying pants. I decide to wear these to the party.

We are on the way to said party when my parents decide they dislike my pants and decide to not go to the party but instead they drive me to the city and we spend hours looking for some regular shorts. After hours of shopping to no avail, they decide to just give up and drop me at the party. I end up arriving there late, and as the party is pretty much over. I look around, trying to find somebody to talk to, when I look over and see a clone of myself. Me. Exactly me, who walks over to me and hands me some normal shorts. I look at them in amazement, and then wake up.

      ...

      A Stranger's Kiss

      This dream is NOT LUCID:

I am at the shopping center. However, I am in complete dismay, as I know I am looking for something that is really important, and that I absolutely HAVE to find, but I have no idea what that thing is.

I look around and see my friends, people I know and see every single day, but not one of them look familiar to me. The people I know in and out, appear as strangers. I decide to go to the bowling alley, and as I walk in, my girlfriend is suddenly beside me. It's a shock at first, but when I realize who it is, a huge wave of calm washes over me. We decide to have a bowl, and as she sits down, I turn around and turn back and sit next to her, I put my arm around her and pull her close and gently kiss her. As I pull away from the kiss, she has inexplicably changed. She is now a complete stranger as well, but not in the sense that she feels like one, but my girlfriend has now disappeared and someone I have never met before in my life has taken her place. I stare...worried, and she whispers "Well...hello to you too" and winks at me. I panic...I want my girlfriend back...I wake up.

      My Broken Heart

      This dream is NOT LUCID:

I'm over my girlfriends house, chatting like usual, when all of a sudden she says "I think we should end this.". I let out a chuckle, because I think she's joking, but I soon learn that she isn't. I break down. "Why?" I ask. She shrugs. She starts spinning away and everything goes dark. What's going on? I open my eyes and I'm at my home. But it doesn't feel like home at all. It feels like she is still here, but she isn't, what do I do? She lives near me, so I run to her house. Her and her entire family are in the car, I trip as I run to the car and graze myself on the road, but I'm still determined to talk to her and continue still. She gets out and walks to the front of the car, but then simply gets back in. Is she toying with me? I run to the passenger door, banging on the window. She winds down the window and just looks at me as she tells her dad to go.

The car takes off as I stare and watch helplessly as it rolls away into the distance.

I wake up, not sure if it was real...

I realize it wasn't, and an emphatic "Thank God!" escapes my lips, but I know the dream will haunt me all day.

      My Lost Dog

      This dream is NOT LUCID:

I don't remember any of the details, and it was VERY vague. But in short, I lost my dog, I spent a LOT of time trying to find it. I was thinking "This can't be happening! It just CAN'T be!" then decided it wasn't...and woke up.

      The Wallet

      This dream is NOT LUCID:

I was in a train station near my house, there is a McDonald's there. I walked into the dining room of the McDonald's and I saw a door to a change-room, which had never been there before. In that change-room, there were a lot of people, and I saw a wallet lying on a bench. So I pretended to trip and nobody saw me take it.

I looked down and I was suddenly in my work uniform [I have no idea how I didn't notice this was a dream] but nonetheless, I proceeded into a cubicle and stuffed the wallet into a bag that appeared on my back. There were clothes in the bag, so I changed into them and left the change-room, my theft unknown, and walked off to discover the wallet contained thousands of dollars in cash. I was extremely excited and woke up as I went to bank the money.
