Lunar (And Lucid) Exploration
Recall: Bad to Decent
Length: Between 2 and 6 minutes
I was playing a video game that took place in a moon base. I kept pausing the game and starting it again because I could not believe how much it really felt I was in the game even though I was playing it at the computer.
Finally it clicked: I couldn't believe it because it was impossible in ever day life. As soon as I realized it I screamed, "I AM DREAMING!" in order to stabilize lucidity.
I did not remember many of my dream goals, (Although it would have been sick to fight Darth Vader on the moon) but I did remember four:
First I tried to phase through walls. I worked! I simply walked into the wall knowing my intentions and went through. This is how I ended up in the room where I flew.
Secondly I tried to fly. I didn't close my eyes or anything I just willed myself to fly just as if it was like walking and I did. I flew around a rather large room with what must've been the power generator in the center.
Third, I tried to shape shift. It may have worked, but I only had my hands to judge that on for there were no mirrors and, my logic center being asleep, I forgot to bring one to me. I tried making my hands were-wolfish, but they only shimmered for a second and went back to normal. (At least normal for that dream anyway!) I suspect if I made my intentions clearer it would have worked better. I only thought "Make myself a were-wolf."
Finally I tried to increase the scenes vividness. Again, my logic center being asleep, I made a stupid mistake. Rather than focusing on an object and saying, "Clarity" I tried rubbing my hands together. The problem with this is that I NEVER do it in real life, so I have no way of using it to increase the dreams clarity.
Overall, I really just wish I had better recall, I don't remember how it "felt" to fly or phase through walls even though I definitely had a feeling when I did so.
