I've had many lucid dreams since I was a kid (most of them while I was a kid) but have never really pursued them. Earlier in 2009 I decided to do a little more research and attempt to have more regular LDs.
I hope to add many entries to this journal.

Things I have learned so far.
Supplements
I don't always have LDs when I take supplements and I don't always take supplements when I have an LD.
With that said, the most successful combination for me is:
Before Bed:
300 mg L-Theanine
5 mg Melatonin or 100 mg 5-HTP
WBTB:
300 mg L-Theanine
4 mg Galantamine
200 mg Choline
I take this no more than once every 3 days.
- I have tried the Amino Acid Blend several times but it hasn't helped at all.
- B6 helps with vividness but anything over 50mg keeps me up.
- Valerian Root has been a great sleep aid and I've had some rather vivid dreams and LDs under it's influence but I'm still not sure it was the cause.
