The first part I remember, although I feel that there may have been something before it, was me (I think I was Fone Bone) running beside a landform that was almost cliff-like, but much shorter (just in the fact that it dropped vertically down to where I was), probably ten feet high or so. Surrounding this landform was a lake, although, having been on that landmass in previous dreams, I could tell you that if I walked around on it, I would've reached the mainland (it just looked like an island from all around).
The lake seemed to have a bit of a current, because it was rushing over rocks in the shallower area. I was running, somewhat scared, towards a young woman, in a traditional, plain white dress, with her brownish hair in a ponytail. She was telling me to run when I got to her, and we heard the
Hooded One
, along with some minions, walking around on the landmass. He peered over the edge of the cliff, and he seemed to engulf reality, expanding to fill my vision. Rather than running, I decided to simply fly straight into the darkness of the hood.
Suddenly, I was above (I think on the landmass), in a field of small, yellow flowers. I was a woman (Come to think of it, I think I was the woman previously mentioned. I guess my other character died or whatever). I turned to see a ninja (that's right). I picked up a straight stick, maybe two feet long, and he threw a bunch of small weapons I can't remember at me. I decided to try to bat them away with the stick, and surprisingly, succeeded. He took out some ninja stars, and threw them at me. I batted them away, with less success, one embedding itself in my back, about half an inch deep, right between my shoulder blades. As he came closer, probably to kill me, and I knew I couldn't fight him head-on, I asked him to play a game for my life. If I won, I would go, if he won, he could kill me.
He agreed to play the game, I don't think he really wanted to kill me, and he took out a game that I guess my character had played before (and it triggered feelings of my real-life swiss relatives, so I guess in the dream, it was a game they had). I couldn't remember it very well, and he knew that, so he put one piece on the grass, facedown. It was a sort of irregular pentagon, with the usual, gray-printed background. He asked me if it should be right-side-up or upside-down. I didn't know. He played both sides a bit, and my family showed up, sort of watching, or just running into the field. It felt like a picnic. I started remembering it; it was called "tower" in german, and he built his side (horizontally) into the "bonus area", where mine was still approaching it.
Suddenly, something hit the board (I don't remember what, but I think my mom put something on the board) and messed up all the pieces. I complained, trying to hide my satisfaction at the fact that I had been losing and now we had to start over. I began to run, because then I could get away without playing the game for my life. Suddenly, everybody was gone (I think I must've just forgot about them), and there was a blue and white-clad ninja standing where the old one first had been. His ninja stars were blue and white, and they followed me to some degree. I tried batting them away, but they were quicker too.
I don't remember what happened next -it's sort of in pieces-, but I might have had a false awakening (or it was like going from the dreaming world in Bone to the real world). At any rate, I walked from my room into my stepdad's study. After a while, my mom and stepdad came in, I think with nachos, and we sat down in front of the computer (it has a big screen) to watch Scrubs. I was still scared of ninjas, so I asked if we could close the white curtains, which were too small to obscure the windows. I believe I walked out of the room to the furnace room, so I could close the door (it's loud in there, when I saw, out the backdoor, the ninja. I hurried into my room, looked out the windows to the front of the house, and swung my door, trying to lock it. Unfortunately, it swung to the wrong place, and the blue-white ninja came in, coming towards me.
Then I was with a group of people, in very foggy, gray weather. We had just gotten a bomb threat, and we suspected it would be in London. We were all given small, red, glowing things, which didn't really have substance to them, but were just sort of light. They allowed us to fly, and the group flew to London. I guess I had some passive control, because I had to imagine what London would be like to steer myself there. I kept imagining another layer of wall with spikes on top (like in medieval times.. I've never been to London), and then realized "if I keep thinking that, I'll never get to the main city", so I took away all but one of the walls, and made the town square. The red things allowed us to pass through solid objects, too, because I flew through one of the spike layers as though it wasn't there.
The next part I remember was being with a group of kids my age, in a sunny area next to London (the gray was gone here), telling the one adult about the bomb threat. The kids seemed mistreated, or used for experiments or something, and so were we. There was an area that looked like a jail cell a bit away, and me and my friend (from reality), still had our red things. I guess I must've had the dream before, or my character just had memories, because when we looked at the cell, there was dirt all over one wall, in clumps. I realized that the last person in there (a girl.. maybe even my old character), must've put sand on the walls to encourage anthill sand spider nests, who would burrow out. Sure enough, there were holes between one side of the bars to the other, and huge, dead spiders, with bodies as big as my fist. We looked at eachother, and I told him that, "this time", we could use the red things to get out if we got in the cell.
The adult told us that the bomb wasn't in London, because all the spiders and creatures were dead, and there would have been guards guarding the bomb if the "guy" had put the bomb here (which I guess is a reference to Saint Dane and the Quigs from
Pendragon). I said there might be no guards to fool him, and the guy walked over to an airstrip nearby, and Will Smith got onto a plane with him. I told my friend I'd like to follow them, because I thought it'd be interesting to see them film (I guess they were supposed to film a movie), or watch the director make them do the same scene 30 times. So we got out red things and followed the plane, back into the foggy, gray skies. I had to, again, imagine where the plane was going, and imagined it curving back around. I realized, at that rate, the plane wouldn't get anywhere, and let it fly back up.
I got distracted, though, because the stick I was holding (apparently the red things can disguise, too, because it looked like one of those plants that's a weak, hollow stick with a bulb at the end) broke, and the bulb snapped off. I reminded myself that it was an illusion, and I was still holding the red thing, but I had lost the plane already, and plummeted to the ground. The next thing I remember, I was talking to a guy who had been in the group about the red things, back at my dad's apartment, and he said they only had so much energy. At this point, I got an HUD and saw the remaining "battery" life with random bars full or empty. All the full ones grouped together at one end, and in one color, and I saw I didn't have much left. I realized my friend was still following the plane, and I asked how the red things could be charged. He said it was charged by anything electrical, which gave me hope, because I figured my friend would fall into the city, which would have electricity everywhere, and then the red thing would start working again and he could save himself.
I asked the guy how to charge it with something electrical, and he said there was a charged. I asked if I could use his, but he said the group's red things came pre-programmed and pre-charged. I asked where I could find one, and he told me the name of the guy who invented them. I found his house on a map, and drew a path. Suddenly, then, I saw the guy who had been on the plane load Will Smith into his car and open the plane drop doors, forcing the car out, and Will Smith to his death (NO!!!!), along with my friend, whose red thing failed. I knew the red things couldn't turn back time, but I imagined what it would've been like if it had gone differently (of course, imagining in a dream makes it reality, which it quickly became). I was back at where my charge had started failing, and somehow radioed my friend, telling him to get on the plane and save his charge, and slow Will Smith's car before it hit the ground.
I flew up to the plane and flew through the floor to behind a seat, where I could stop using the red thing (and its ability to hide me). The guy began to put them in the car, but as the drop doors opened and the car rolled towards them, we somehow killed the guy (don't remember how.. at any rate, he wasn't there anymore), closed the doors, and saved Will Smith (yay!). Then the plane started going down (maybe the guy just disabled the plane and jumped ship.. I really don't remember), and I told my friend that once the ground came into view, he should started slowing the plane down. The ground came into view almost right away, and not very far away, and I was suddenly my friend (who was still hidden by the red thing). I went through the floor and pushed up against the plane, slowing its descent enough that we didn't crash back onto the airstrip. I (through my friend's eyes), looked back to behind the seat and saw myself, but I was a yellow Yoshi. Will Smith thanked us.
