      TVBoomer's Dream Journal

Well, I didn't even have one up till now, so here's my dream journal:

Today was active for LDs, with some non-lucids, too. My first dream involved some kind of product called A-(something), and I was with a friend of mine, Peter. I then made some witty remark (can't remember) and woke up.

After falling back asleep, I was in school. I was in Civics class, and we had this really red-faced substitute with Coke-rim glasses. He told us to get out our homework assignments, at which everyone pulled out their Spelling books and showed him their finished Crossword puzzle (lol)... except for me. At this time I was slightly panicked, wondering how I could've forgotten my assignment, and then I realized that it was Sunday, and I didn't have school, so I became lucid.

I had more, but I can't remember them Note to self: this was my first successful (sort of) attempt at a WILD.

      Jungle

Had an odd dream... I was with a friend that will be going away for a while on the 16th of November 2004 (tomorrow) in a very yellow jungle... we were being chased by these alien things, and ran into their UFO, where we saw some guy get electrocuted. Then there was something about 2 blimps made of watermelons in my porch with evil smiles painted on them I had another dream, but I can't remember it.

      Weird dream... again

Had another weird dream. I was in a Zelda-style video game (top scrolling) and I was riding a turtle. I tried hopping to another ledge from this floating rock, but every time I'd fall right before I got to the end and had to start over again. The colors were lots of blues and greens and blacks, no bright colors, I was very frustrated at the end. I also could've had a dream involving Maggie from my school, but the only evidence of that was a strong feeling of deja vu when I saw her today...

Had a dream about the 2000 election involving meeting Bill Clinton, and also had a dream about going back to camp for another 2 week canoe trip. The canoe dream was very green, and a girl on the trip was kidnapped by her father. Also, two friends in a canoe went down the wrong side of the river and got lost.

Okay, so I recently used the HILD method described in the tutorial on this site. The particular method described in this tutorial involves saying to yourself, "...all that matters is that every night I have a LONG, VIVID, REALISTIC, HIGHLY LUCID dream." Last night (after performing the self-hypnosis) I fell asleep, and had a frustrating (and now annoying) dream.

I was standing in the middle of a wide cobblestone street, in what looked like London. It was raining, and people passing me were holding black umbrellas and were dressed in tuxes, suitcoats, and the like. Standing in front of me were four men, all dressed up like the others. The first one steps up to me and says, "LONG." He steps back, and the second guy steps up to me, and says, "VIVID." Then he steps back, and the third guy steps up and says, "REALISTIC." He steps back, and the fourth guy steps up and mumbles something. I say, "What?", And all four laugh histerically. This is repeated over and over again until I got so frustrated that I woke up. Needless to say I was angry when I realised what the fourth guy was trying to say: "HIGHLY LUCID." Needless to say, the dream was long, vivid, and realistic

Had an odd dream last night... it was long, although I don't remember it in detail. In assumed dream time, I believe it lasted aroun 50 minutes (in the dream). I was racing in stock cars, very colorful stock cars. I remember a lot of gray, and an occasional burst of color as a car raced by. There were obstacles like jumps and such, and after one jump I got out of the car. It was in third person suddenly, and I talked with my friends about something... I don't remember what. But then we got back in and raced more. The odd thing is, I don't remember feeling anything in the dream... and I don't like racecars, go figure

Had an incredibly realistic dream this morning, and it was also very... interesting. Apparently I'm some guy named Ferris, and I'm in my house. A butler (?) spills coffee all over the floor in my front hallway, and it's everywhere. I go outside to find my next-door-neighbor, Jim, helping to build some kind of gazebo (or something). When I go outside, Jim and everyone else working stop and look at me. They all cheer, and go back to work (lol). I walk around on a stone path through all the work that's going on. People are pouring dirt, putting in sod, and laying stone in my fenced in backyard. I walk up to Jim, and then he says to me, "IT'S LIKE A DREAM, ISN'T IT?" How dense can my dream self be? I keep on giving myself every clue that I'm having a dream, and I ignore it completely... grrr.
