My 2 dreams and a half

A little background around me that goes with the dreams of today. I'm very surprised i had dreams of that kind. So movie-like. It's the first time i paid attention to my dreams and wrote them down. I like movies, i've seen a lot of them, probably could end of a critic on the subject, but for a couple of month now, i havent been seen much Tv or theaters.... dont know where it all comes from. Anyhow, here it goes.

      08/12/04

First Dream : I had this one around 7am, and now it's 12h pm. I was tired and lazy, didnt write it down on time, so i dont remember it very much. The funny thing is, the only thing i remember is having Woopy Golberg in my dream. And no it wasnt one of those kind of dream! There were platforms in the air, high above the ground in a building, like those platform used in old theaters, for the lights and i think i was moving/jumping around them. Then i saw her famous smile and laugh. ;D The "hee hee hee" one. It's weird. I had her and another actor in my dreams today. I havent seen one of her movies in ages, didnt heard about her recently, probably the feeling i was looking for was better portrayed with them in it. Dunno. So that's all i remember from my first dream ;(

Second Dream : I was in some kind of a war with a group of people. They were villains, mercenairies, creating havoc wherever they went and i was trying to stop them. I remember seeing my dream in third person (as a camera looking down a scene) and sometimes as a player. One scene i remember was with a young girl, a kid really, maybe 10 yrs of age, very smart, who needed to get in a safe place away from something - a danger- I'm not sure if its in the same dream, but chronologically, it was before. Anyways, We were in a region with forests and hills. I took her in my arms for she was young and tired so the trip would be much quicker... and started walking in the direction of a cave i knew was nearby. Then there were trouble; It's very unclear to me at that point, but there were monsters attacking (flying monsters, bees-like), other walking ones and some kind of flurorescent liquid (radioactive compound?) appear on the ground around me.. i had to jump around it without getting touched by the monsters. I don't remember anything else at that point. I never made it to the cave.

Third Dream : Im still in the same scenario I think; the villains are still there. One of the vilains, the master-mind and chief of operation, i portrayed as John Travolta (probably because his last roles where all villains - I only had a flash of him, actually i didnt see him after that). The last scene i had upon waking was around a warehouse. A huge storage room, which sometimes appeared more like a mall from the inside, but changed to a warehouse/aeroport hangar (a huge building high and wide with open-space in it). A lot of people where inside it, maybe to get away from the the wrongdoers, i'm not sure. It started as them (the villains) arriving at location in jeeps and trucks. They quickly positionned themselves in a straight horizontal line parallel to one of the walls. Now, more details appeared. I could see a series of windows just where they were standing. You'll see soon where i'm getting at. It was for convenience only. They could stay from the outside of the building and shoot in it. So, from the big wide windows, the started loading out what was an armory of different guns (autos, machine guns, heavy, medium, small ones, name it, it was all there). It was going to be a massacre. So everyone, the gathering of people in the middle of the hangar, started panicking but there were no place to hide really. They were in the open-air and the scoundrels where about to shoot. People started falling everywhere to the wave of bullets, i jumped and crouched to dodge, moved around objects to get outside. In my dreams, it really looks like a movie production where some parts im the player and some parts i see third-person for example, i remember seeing the smiles and laughs of the villains that were shooting through the windows. So, i saw a row of villains, their faces smilling or smirking and gun barrels pouring bullets. I'm not sure yet if i was Lucid Dreaming. I wasnt conscious i was in a dream, that's for sure, but i remember dodging bullets voluntarly. I would do in real-time moves and actions as if i was there trying to live through it. I got outside from a window or a door, i dont know how, and i started moving around the building to get the guys one-by-one. I flawlessly took out a couple of guys that were away from the main group, took their guns and started shooting as well. The scene blurred. All i remember was taking out everyone except one big meany guy on steroids (maybe not steroids, but he looked like a fridge) and a girl (small in height, but probably very tough or good with martial arts. She was about high as my shoulder level, occidental; I imagine her as one of those psycho-girls that could eat you out a finger if you're in her path) Anyways, i never found that out. The big guy wasnt really bright and i took advantage of it; i dont know how it actually happened, but at the end it was a one-on-one guy combat - farwest style. The girl was looking at the scene from my right, the big guy was in front of me and i had my gun pointed at him. It's funny, i remember i found a freeze-gun on the ground... and he had a ruger-like gun. I asked him if we could switch, because i didnt like the feel of it and he accepted (o_0) Anyhow, so my gun poiting at his head, his gun at mine... we were waiting for the countdown of the small girl. Three.... two..... then i shot. Life is unfair. Then i woke up.

Hmm, i'll never know what's going to happen to the girl. Once i was awake i thought of maybe turning the gun on her, before she reacts and say something like : Don't even think about it. But i was awake at the time, so TOO LATE.

I was in control of most of my dreams, but wasnt lucid enough to realise i was IN the dream. I'll have to work on that, but it's a nice start. I wanted to remember my dreams and i did!

      Well done, man

I know what you mean about the 'not lucid, but sort of... can control things... but didnt get that it was a dream'
I had a similar one yesterday - where I distinctly remember thinking 'Hmm - I hope I remember this part. its interesting'
Annoyingly, I didnt remember what was interesting
And more annoyingly, I don't believe I was entirely lucid. Even though I obviously 'knew' in some way, that it *was* a dream.
I label those 'semi lucids' normally. Either you keep forgetting you're lucid - are too stupid to do anything - or know, but dont know.

Other than Whoopi Goldberg and John Travolta, your dreams seem to have the same patterns as mine

It seems it was happening in one part of vietnam; there were mafia gangs that organised themselves in this region and I dont remember what was my part in all this (was i a goon from one of those mafias or just a regular guy? dunno). Anyhow, the scene i remember the most is that i was trying to pass a bridge and i had problems doing so. The bridge was large and made of stones. Two sections of the bridge was for pedestrians, one on each side, and the middle one was for vehicules. When i came to cross the bridge, resistance was there, subtle but i felt it and knew i wasnt welcomed to cross. What appeared to be a vietnamese guard of the brigde, came to see my passport and identification. He was mean and rude, doing his job unproprelly and he wanted to make my day for some reason. I suppose it all comes back to mafia gangs getting somehow "politically correct" with each other, while still being at war; a more subtle and vengenful kind of war. So he was reading my papers, made me wait terribly long, looked at them from longing minutes for no reasons, check every details as if trying to learn them by heart... and then he looked at me for some reaction, waited a little more and moved a bit towards me and handed it in, but he didnt let me time to move my hand to get it, so it fell on the floor, closely to one of the many holes that were on the bridge. He deliberatly tried to throw my passport through one of the holes, so it falls down in the river irretrivable! He took the passport again, and tried to do it less subtly again... aiming for a hole and motionned as if he tried to give it back to me. It once again was very close to falling, but i took it and backed away. He moved toward me in a mean way, pushing me back out of the bridge; his action told me clearly and without doubt that i wasn't welcomed to pass. The dream wasn't chronological from this part on, i only remember bits and pieces. We had a fight outside of the bridge, i was "semi-lucid" as Placebo puts it : lucid enough to fight and dodge, but not enough to realise i was in a dream. I came later with reinforcement. There were trucks on the bridge, snipers in the vicinity (house tops or appartment windows) and men with autos. The bridge guard was heavily shot and then i let him go. He walked away from the scene, scared for his life, crippled, shot... he would soon die from his injuries and energy he had put to his walking. It was my mafia vengeance.

Now that i think of it, i realise I have logical, realistic dreams. I remember long ago having weird, unexplainable dreams, but now, the more i think of it, it seems I mostly have precisely thought, well defined dreams with some basic or extensive plot and a "normal" human surrounding. I've somewhat of a scientific mind, always trying to prove logically the basis of my claims; it might come from that. But, i've always thought myself to be very imaginative and creative, which i have proven many times also, but wouldnt that make my right brain hemisphere (imagination, creativity) work more than my left one (logic, mathematics, realism), meaning more weird, unexplainable dreams and less logic? Hmm... dunno!

      12 and 13th of December

I had dreams which i remember vaguely, but i'll write down the main points:

      12th of december :
      - Death was my class teacher
      - When he spoke in class, he always gave me hints, as if we had a past together
      - He talked with me as an equal, as if he had respect for me.

      13th of december :
-I visited worlds of other dimensions
-I made portals appear in walls and then i walked into it to pass through dimensions
-apparently using my ability to go from dimension to another drained my energy and i could only do it a limited amount of it
-just before i wake up, someone asked me to create a portal to a certain location, which i did.. then he pushed me in and i ran out of energy and was stuck
      ... then i woke up

I find i'm having more and more adversaries in my dreams... but it happens more and more as one bad guy, not just a group. One nemesis or antagonist.
      My dreams are getting weirder.
