Death By Incineration (WBTB)
NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I appeared outside my house, and was looking around. I looked down, and noticed I was levitating like an inch from the ground. I did the nose reality check, and it worked. I then became lucid. I was excited as hell, because I haven't had an LD in a while, so I tried to control my emotions. With that, I was successful. I flew into the air, and then flew with lightning speed in some random direction. I looked down, and it kind of looked like some abandoned medieval village of sorts. Definitely not outside my house.
I then spotted what looked like an arena, but it was only closed off by a fence. There were three evil looking men, standing in the clearing. I flew down, and landed about 10 feet from them. I looked around, and saw an opening in the fence. I walked towards it, but as soon as I came out, flames burst up in front of me. I turned around, and saw an old man wearing what looked like a fishing cap, with no hooks or anything. I don't know how I knew, but I knew. He was with them. I walked back into the clearing, to find the evil men laughing. I asked them what this place was, and if they realized that they couldn't hurt me. The first man, short, bald, and had a scar over his left eye, turned to me. He said "I already know what you're going to say. This is your dream, not ours, and you could make us all dissapear if you really felt like it.". I was standing there, kind of taken aback by the fact that he just read my mind. Then the second man, tall, with long, shaggy hair, and a 5 O'clock shadow said "Not this time.". I sort of believed him, I don't know why. I tried to fly away, and I couldn't even come off the ground. The three men were laughing, and I was running back and forth. The old man in the fishing cap stared at me, not making a sound. The three men started closing in on me, and they were holding out their hands. I turned and ran, towards the fire, and saw them chasing me. I closed my eyes tightly, trying to pause time. No luck. It seemed I was still lucid, but all of my abilities were drained from me. I got to the fire and stopped, and turned around. The three men were gone, but the old man in the fishing cap was standing right in front of me, holding his hand out in a kind of way that someone would as if to say "Do not pass!", but he remained silent. He took a few steps towards me, and I screamed "No!!" and closed my eyes, and teleported. I then woke up.
This was by far one of the longest, most vivid LD's I've had. I was very pleased with it, because I wasn't completely controlling it, it kind of played out like a story.
