      SAILD Log

*Note- This is not against Dream Journal rules as long as I post my dreams with my research. I made sure.
-And please come forward if this method is lurking about somewhere before attacking me with stealing. I'll make sure to have this thread closed if there is.

Snooze Alert Initiated Lucid Dream (SAILD) by: louie54

Intro: It’s like a lazier version of a WBTB. It involves a series of waking up every 10 minutes in a course of about 40-60 minutes. The purpose of this technique is to provide an alert mind to fall asleep with.

      Needs:
      -Alarm Clock
      -Snooze Initiated Lucid Dream
      The Method:
1.---------Set alarm clock for X (hours/mins) prior to waking up.

2.---------After alarm waking you up, get up and go to the bathroom, get water, do reality check, or whatever. Then set your alarm for 10mins later to present time and go back to sleep.

3.---------Every time the alarm wakes you up, hit snooze and assert your attention to lucidity as you fall back asleep

4.---------Try to become aware of anything you perceive. Your goal is to be alert while falling back asleep, so try to be aware of any images or sounds you may experience which may eventually lead to successfully perceiving them as if they were actually there.

5.---------Continue to repeat steps 3-4. After about 40 minutes, turn alarm off and repeat step 4 alone.
      ----------

I'm using the Dream Journal section to record any dreams as a result from this method. If anyone else is willing to participate in this, feel free to.
