      Mirrors in dreams.

I have always had the strangest experiences with mirrors in dreams. Whether while being lucid or non-lucid, mirrors have always shown a modified version of myself. Sometimes it's the hair, sometimes the face, sometimes skin, sometimes the whole body, and a combination of everything. Has anyone else noticed the strangeness of mirrors in dreams? They are definitely a good dreamsign.

Happend to me before.... scared the S**T out of me. I looked like a deformed clown. A funny feeling in a scary way.

The Higher Mind which makes our dreams does not hold the Person's Persona Image in much respect or awe. Mirrors show it to be distorted. The, often enough in dreams when the body is examined, wounds are found, teeth are broken, things just are not right.

What is the point of this? Well, the Body Image Persona is not going to last. We are being trained to see it as flawed and evanescent.

Recently, I read a Dream from one of our own here at the Page -- she had made it up to the Final Mirror -- we can call it the Mirror of the Sphinx, in which she was presented with the visual Riddle -- "Only Those Who See The Face" can pass through this mirror. Her companions saw nothing and were quite contemptuous of the Looking Glass. She, with no effort, looked straight into the Silver, and saw, no, not some distorted version of her own Body Image Persona, but the Face of the Cosmic Christ. And she was allowed to pass through into Heaven.

The Mirror in Dreams is also a Symbol used for the Divine White Light. I once saw the Divine White Light in something of its full intensity. What happens is that Space tears open -- there is ripples and waves in the scene before one, and then some Stress rips open a hole in the Air and out pours the Divine White Light. You know what it looks like? It looks like burning Magnesuim held up before a Chromium Mirror. So the Symbol of a Mirror would suggest this White Light.

So when a Dream shows us a distorted Image of ourselves, we are being shown how we ourselves contrast with the Divine White Light... it is a comparison which will never work in our personal favor
