Dream recall problem and struggling to remember

For the last three weeks or so, I've been having problems with dream recall. I absolutely fail. I just can't remember what I dreamt the previous night.

What I used to do, was open my Dream Journal and start an opening sentance, such as "Ok here's what I dreamt last night" and sometimes some background info, and my dream comes flooding back. But it just isn't working anymore.

The instant I wake up, I know I've been dreaming but nothing comes back to me.

What shall I do? I'm really losing interest because of this problem.

Take a break. It helps. Take a vacation for a week or so from all of this dreaming sutff and then come back after youve colled off all of it. It helps many people.

Remembering is such a natural obstacle

Remembering is such a natural obstacle in the transition from dream time, and awaking to normal awareness of the ordinary world. It’s so easy to forget when crossing that threshold.
I found that if you could clear your mind, and try not to force too hard it comes back to you. The moments you spend writing your opening sentence, such as "Ok here's what I dreamt last night" probably allowed you the time to trigger your dream memory, but may have become habitual and no longer effective. Keep trying though, I still have difficulty remembering at times- you’ll get through.
Sometimes tiredness & fatigue cause this – I’m sure it’s just a phase.

      Cheers,
