my strange bathroom dream sign

Is this a dream sign for anyone else? I have had numerous dreams of different bathrooms and they are always weird in some way. sometimes there is no door, or it is broken and people are trying to get in. Ive been in bathrooms that were frozen and covered in frost, hidden in a tree, some are sort of mazes, some are tiny and some are huge, with trees, rivers and pools in them. some are all black or stainless steel. some are disgustingly dirty. one had a firemans pole. I could go on. anyone else have an unusual reoccuring dream sign?

not unusual but the only thing that is recurring in my dreams is cars, usually in wierd places.

It'd be interesting to know what sort of themes or recurring events/objects appear for different people. Personally, water and forests are a recurring theme. Either rain, oceans, floods, etc are pretty common, and even in dreams involving cities, there is usually water and/or forest of some sort around (like on an island). I've noticed a trend, in that unpleasant dreams (I still have them occasionally) tend to have a complete absence of these. The last unpleasant one I remember involved a city in a desert. These are non or sub-LDs, obviously (in a full LD I'd be able to conjure up however much forest and water I wanted.

that would be interesting, there are probably signs that are more common than others. Ive never met anyone else who had bathroom dreams, ha ha. my other dream signs are being in the house or town I grew up in, probably 80% of my dreams take place there. also stairs that twist and turn, or go into walls, or are hard to get to is a common thing for me.

I have almost exactly the same recurring bathroom imagery , always either filthy or broken in some way . i also often have DCs trying to push in after me . I believe that these are very common signs but dont know why toilets are so filthy in dreams it must be a Freudian thing.

ive had a ton of bathroom dreams. some of which i found myself pissing up the walls or filling up the toilet to the brim

I heard all toilets in dreams are dirty. It's still a great dreamsign though. My theory on the dirty toilets is quite simple: Every child has once wet his bed, I do as a matter of fact recall going to the toilet In my dream. Luckily I learned that going to toilets in dreams is a bad thing to do. Maybe people's mind make the toilets dirty/unprivate so you wouldn't use them anymore? That really makes learning things in relation to dreams intresting.

Ummm yeah i just started LD like 2 nights ago, ive had them before i know for a fact just didnt' know what they were, but i stumbled on this stie, read everything, and want to become the best lucid dreamer i can, i love it. soo anyway i started my dream journal 2 nights ago, and the first night with the MILD technique didn't have much success, but last night i woke up from my first and second dream, and woke up in the morning from my 3rd dream, but had 3 dreams totall, and within thost three dreams, i had 2 where i was in the bathroom, like once i was in a lockeroom bathroom pissing further then anyone could in real life and the 3rd dream i was in the mall bathroom taking a crap where i had a never ending wiping session, soo not sure if thats one of my signs but i wll keep an eye out for it, and also the bathrooms seemed pretty clean to me, suprisinglly,

I don't think I've ever seen a bathroom in a dream before. Actually, I remember watching the film "look who's talking" and I remember the kid in the film had a nightmare about a toilet that tried to eat him. I must have been 4 years old at the time, I think I had a similar nightmare that night, but I'm not certain. I've never dreamed about toilets since then.

Kind of weird that bathrooms play such a role in people's dreams. Or they are absent, or they do other things like triggering LD''s it seems ^____^

Bathrooms appear in my dreams a lot. They are usually in a school setting and they are always crowded and/or maze like. The stalls don't have doors and the walls are too short to be comfortable. There are lots of people I know in there and no one sees this bathroom as odd except me. I run around and look for a place that's private to go to the bathroom, but usually end up pretty uncomfortable while peeing next to an old school buddy who always did talk too much. Recently some of the toilets are clogged and overflowing with all kinds of filth. Sometimes these dreams coincide with me actually having to use the bathroom, sometimes not.
