most definitely. it doesn't just affect dream recall, though, it affects everything about your dreaming...actually, i think your emotional state affects your mind completely awake or asleep. whenever i'm stressed or in some kind of bad mood i tend to only remember a general theme that all of my dreams seem to revolve around. when i'm feeling happy/normal i can remember a lot more specific details, and all of my dreams are totally different. |

Yes, it certianly does. In my experience, if I have been depressed about throughout the day, I don't have very good dream recall at all. Just the other day, I wasn't feeling so great about some things and I couldn't remember anything I dreampt about the next day! Of course this has happened numerous times. If I am having a great day, my dream recall skyrockets and I can remember up to five dreams I have had in just one night. Keeping a positive attitude really helps if you want to remember your dreams. |
