      Waking Recall?

Today I started trying to do a waking recall. Whenever I get a moment of time, I try to recall every event that has happened today. Every small detail, as detailed as I can. I find it very similar to trying to recall my dreams in the morning. Obviously with more detail. It isn't as easy as I thought it would be. It made me realize that I tend to be on autopilot for most of the day, so it makes sense that if I can't remember what I did 5 hours ago with much clarity..... how can I expect to remember what I dreamed a few hours ago with any clarity at all.

Just curious if anyone else has tried this. Or if anyone else wants to give it a shot and give feedback.

I actually tried this as I was falling asleep last night. I only had a little dream recall when I woke up in the morning, but it was a lot more than I had had for the past week.

Edit: I did it last night and once again remembered a dream with a decent amount of detail. This really doesn't sound like a lot, but it is compared to what I had for the past week. I'm not sure if this is what is helping, but I know it obviously isn't hurting anything.

How could you cry for me?
