My personal tip for dream recall!

I dunno, but this is a great thing I do, it is probably obvious but I will share anyways.
When I am writing down my dreams I try and write as much as possible, I try to write in as much detail as I can :Grass hieght, floor patters, sky, trees, it all!!! I don't do it lately because I have gotten lazy but I will start because I am getting all serious about dreams now.

I hope it helps, I like to do it because I just love writing too!

That works well for me too, in a perfect world. But when you spend close to an hour in the morning writing down your dreams, it begins to feel a bit excessive. Of course, since I have stopped doing that (burnout maybe?) my dream recall has suffered greatly.

Now I just try to talk to my wife about my dreams if they are noteworthy as soon as I wake up. I loose a lot of detail, but my recall is steadily coming back to me.
