i am pretty good at dream recall in my opinion. but i always have to wake up in the middle of the night and focus and then write it down. does doing so get you anywhere. like if i keep practicing, will i be able to remember without waking up in the middle of the night. |

I think that you will be able to remember your dreams with practice. But it will take practice, time and dedication. Keep doing the DJ for as long as you can though. |

When I actively want to remember my dreams, I usually wake up in the middle of the night multiple times. There's no other way to remember the dreams from the different REM phases. I just stay in bed 1-2 hours longer per night to make up for this. That way I usually remember 5-10 dreams per night. |

I used to wake up multiple times per night, after dreams. But now, if I recall more than one, there is no full waking between them. I kind of partially wake, put the dream into my conscious memory, then go back to sleep, all in just a few seconds. I write down three or four dreams when I wake up properly. |
