      A great tip on recall

This has done miracles for me - A combination of B6 (bananas etc) and .. Going through your day backwards.

When you're in bed, just think to yourself.. "What did I do before this? And before that? And before THAT?" until you get to the point where you've just woken up.

milk seems to do the trick for me, only had one lucid dream, but if i drink alot of milk before bed my dreams are much more vivid, and i remember them better.

Holy crappo, I can personally say B6 does miracles now.
I tried it last night, took 8mg, remembered 2 super awesome, long and vivid dreams.

B6? what does that do anatomically? I think I'll try that tonight but I was just wondering whether food really has an impact on dreams or is it more of a placebo effect like a suggestion to the subconcious...

      Milk, Bananas.

I just made myself a banana Milkshake with our blender. Yummi. And full of B6. I also have additional B^pills but I'm not a fan of becoming a smartdrugs junky so I only do that to experiment sometimes.

Now I'm going to drink the last glass of banana milkshake and ten try the ''going backwards through your day'' -technique to come to myself and become relaxed and focussed before lay down to sleep.

      MARMITE!!

I don't like running through my day backwards. I get really bored. Hmmm what does that say about my average day?! But seriously, I mean if you did it properly it would take say 16 hours or so? No, I think I'm being silly..

Not really? If you were doing it properly I'm taking it you'll be going like.

And I walked to school... and after 2 seconds while walking to school there was a car here... and 3 seconds..

I think that ''I walked to school'' ''This or that happened, weird'' will suffice.

How does this help dream recall? Sorry to doubt before I try it, but it sounds kind of boring (boring life I guess&#33.

Is marmite the same as vegemite? As in a kind of down-under sandwich? That yeast stuff? Do you eat that before bed? I wonder if I can get that. Probably not where I am. Maybe order on the internet. Does it work? Weirdness effect alone may do something for me. Come to think of it I have some Brewer's yeast in the fridge; I'm trying it! Goodnight, I'll let you know.

      Hooray!
I have had completely awful recall lately, I'll give this a try... Although I can't seem to find any bananas anywhere. I'll try to find B6 pills, once I find out it's effects other than improved recall.
And yeah, the going-through-your-day-backwards seems incredibly boring... Although I wouldn't have much to go through. My day started at noon!
Hooray for completely screwed up sleeping schedules!

Good Morning! It worked! Thanks Jess for the yeast I idea; I took 2 big spoonfulls of brewer's yeast right before I went to bed and had and LD at the end of the night. No need to search for marmite I guess.

Oh yea I didn't try to remember my day backwards; just thought about LD as I went to sleep.

Not THAT thoroughly, just do it in big lines. Like .. "I went to bed. Before that, I watched Pulp Fiction. Before that, I was on the PC. Before that, I ate. Before that, I was on the PC some more. Before that, I went to the beach. Before that, I hung out with friends. Before that I was on the PC some more. Before that, I had breakfast. Before that, I was on the PC. Before that, I took a shower. Before that, I came out of bed, and before THAT I woke up."

Indeed. Just see the reaction to the quote above.
