I've been trudging along the slow path of dream recall improvement--and although I realize it takes a while (I've only been at it for about a week and a half, I had a "lapse" for about a year), but I've never really succeeded in the past...

So does anyone have any "success storise", so to speak? Can anyone describe their GRADUAL improvement of dream recall? Because mine is slowly improving... I'm remembering a few more details than I normally would (for example, the exact price of the meal I ate in a diner). I need to hear the success stories rather than just the problems!
nous avons ajouté des années à notre vie,
mais pas de vie à nos années.

let's get these teen hearts beating, faster, faster!

It's been a few months since I tried this and I am only just starting again. But I gradually improved at dream recal simply by working on reallity checks every day for about 2 weeks aswell as thinking to myself "Next time I dream I will remember it" every time. Also keep saying this to yourself as you are going to sleep.

It took a few days but gradually I improved untill I have atleast one dream to recal every night. I realize now to improve further I need to wake up between dreams in order to remember more. Aswell as starting a dream journal. But it was an ok first step.

it's been only 1 week and my dream recall has went to remembering a few details to now remembering up to 5 different dreams from one sleep and I think it's because I took a time out from smoking weed and now memory is getting better
in your wildest dreams you couldn't picture a bogan like me, haha

As of right now my dream recall has depleted, but it used to be where I could remember 2 to 3 dreams a night. My technique to this was also sloppy, it was simply the mental act to remember, to remember my dreams before i would fall asleep, I would then wake up and could interpret some dreams into five or 10 minute anecdotes to my friends. Also another thing is that I rarely remembered to write down dreams, but i noticed as soon as i stopped thinking about lucid dreaming, and didn't care whether or not i was going to remember a dream, my dream recall simply disappeared. So take it from someone who has spanned the spectrum, if you want to remember your dreams you will. Just tell yourself that you're going to remember the dreams, write down a dream or two a week, and this should be sufficient. just remember to remember.
