Hi everyone. I recently logged in into this forum with one idea. What if the principles of sensoric channels we all have could be used for bettering the recall?
This is the basic stuff:
If you look up, you are concentrating on your visual thoughts, if you are looking at the middle, ears are concerned and when you are looking down, kinaesthethic (movement and feelings) part of brain is activated.
This can be taken by example. Can you remember your old school days, when you were standing in front of a teacher looking at the ceiling, trying to visualize something. Can you remember looking at your friend telling him head up, when he was feeling in depression, lost in his internal dialogue and feelings of desperate. Now you know what i think about. Looking at specific spot could help you improve your current channel performance.
It is also said that looking at right forces brain to construct something and looking at left lets brain to access memmory.
Eye position from 1.st positions should mean this:
up, right: visual imagination
up, left: visual memory
mid, right: ear imagination
mid left: ear memory
down right: feelings memory
down left: internal dialogue
So how could it help improving recall? Look to your left. If you are better in visualization. Look up left. And so on. Who will try this out. I am gonna start tonight.
Look at this link: http://www.nlp-london.co.uk/nlp-rapport_04.htm
Here you will find more info. If this works, this might become a tutorial overtime. So we help the others.
