I never do reality checks in dreams!

I do them pretty frequently during the day, but I never do them in a dream. Ok, sometimes I forget to do them, but I usually do. Should I just do them every 5 minutes or something?!

I just do one whenever I remember to, even if I know I'm not dreaming.

I do reality checks every hour.

One of the benefits of doing regular reality checks is that it gets you in to the habbit of questioning whether you are dreaming generally. This increased awareness may help you to become lucid in a dream without even performing a reality check, i.e. something will happen in your dream and you will say "That's can't be right!" and you will realise you are dreaming. It's still the regular reality checking that has helped.

I don't think I have yet to perform a random reality check in a dream, they are usually in response to something a little suspect happening. It's important that you do reality checks when you are awake if you see something strange too (or if you see a dream sign).

At first I thought that would work, but wouldn't you need an alarm clock or something to ring every hour? That would wake me up.
