      Sleep Talk

      HI ya'll
I have a question. Everytime my boyfreind falls asleep, he starts talking in his sleep, and saying 'I love you, I love you' over and over again. He does this EVERY TIME, he falls asleep. He never says a name though, of who he is saying this too. This seems too strange for it to be a joke or anything. Anyone have a veiw on this?

It's really funny how women worry about this kind of stuff.

Try stabbing him in the heart. If he really loves you he won't be mad.

Once my brother fell asleep in his room, but he ended up in our kitchen when he woke up... It was kind of funny.

i talk in my sleep and say things i dont remember dreaming about! the reasons we say what we say in our sleep (and dream what we dream) are deep-seated and may not outrightly mean what it sounds like. - for instance if you dream of having sex with someone it doesnt mean that's what you want to do, there could be many reasons why that is on your mind.

I've went to bed once and woken up downstairs on the couch in the morning with no clue how I got there. To tell you the truth I was kinda scared. It would have been funny though watching me walk down the stairs with my eyes closed. I wonder how long it took me.

*shakes head sadly* According to the rest of my family, I talk in my sleep very loudly and clearly. Although, when they tell me what it was, it usually doesn't have anything to do with the dreams I remember having. O.o Go figure.

...But I'm not sure I like this talking-in-my-sleep thing. I mean... it's like displaying them all for the public. What if I have a dream I don't want anyone to know about?

I also sleep talk apparently, but more of a mumbling type thing. But, I also have a problem, where I tend to sit up in bed in the middle of the night and sleep, I just pop up and sleep like that. (not exaggeration)

Actually, sleep walking/talking are not at all associated with dreaming.

A person will most likely sleep walk/ talk in Stage 4 of sleep. REM (the period you are most likely to dream) doesn't occur until after Stages 1,2,3,4, then 4,3,2,1..

When in REM the body is paralyzed or inactive while the brain is extremly active.. Which is why its called the paradoxical sleep ...

So yea.. This could be why people don't remember dreaming what friends or family heard them say.. or where they saw them go, while they were sleep talking/walking..
