Does Marijuana effect your recall?

Well, I used to have a nearly perfect recall. I lost interest in lucid dreaming for awhile so I stopped recording any of my dreams. A couple months later I started smoking weed. I've been smoking for awhile now, and I recently decided to get back into lucid dreaming. So, like usual I go to sleep, set the alarm 3 times during the night to wake me up and I've been doing it for about a week now without recalling a single dream. When I first started lucid dreaming, I couldn't recall a dream for 2 weeks straight and out of nowhere I got a lucid dream accompanied with dream recall. I read somewhere that pot effects your recall so I'm kind of worried that I'm screwed.

I've been smoking off and on for about a year and I had been smoking when I joined this site.... I can always recall my dreams well and had three lucids in a row and a WILD last week, but then I stopped smoking for a few days and I didn't have any lucids but I did have very vivid dreams that I recalled. So, now I'm going to start to smoke again before I go to sleep and see if I can get a lucid and then I'll try WILD in the morning
