Having trouble finding a "Solid" Dreamsign...

(been reading dreamviews for months now... thought it was about time to join the gang ) Not sure if anyone else has this problem... but iv been trying to lucid for about 5 months now, and the last 1 or so months iv put in more effort then I ever have (THIS IS BECOMING MY LIFE!! ) I got Stephen Leberges book Exploring the World etc at the start of this year, and have hammered that down/treat it as a "bible" lol. I had about 14 short lucids last month, with a majority of them from using the basic W.I.L.D technique/WBTB and only have had a few D.I.L.D's. Id just rather D.I.L.D cause i find when i WBTB/WILD i stay up ALOT longer/takes me ages to get to sleep/drift into the dream world. AGES! I keep a dream diary regularly, usually recalling atleast 4 dreams per night (vividly), constantly question my waking life, perform reality checks every hour (nose blowing tech). my problem is.. finding a solid dreamsign. my dreams are ALWAYS out of context, and iv pinpointed it down through re-reading my dreams that usually something or someone iv talked about or seen in the current day shows up in that nights dreams. sometimes as small as just seeing a persons name i know, and they would show up lol. another example is I watched a small episode of family guy, and a small scene family guy related showed up (was a mario parody where the player got right to the end then died on there last life lol, was "dream laughing" BAHahah). Im just finding it hard to pinpoint an actual dream sign lol. Ive become aware of small subtleties in my waking world, and on the way to sleep i replay the small things/people in my head that I mightve seen in the current day and prep my mind to recognise it, but still itll be something totally different lol. Iv also tried incubating a character or dreamsign (e.g i listen to kings of leon ALOT) and a kings song has only ever showed up once in my dreams. I remember alot of dreams everynight in vivid detail.. its just coming aware! gah! Lol, anyway any help would be appreciated. Cheers

You don't need a dreamsign. I, for one, don't have any, but when I try I can DILD consistently.

eh? I try pretty much try dilding everynight... how do you go about your DILD's if you dont mind me asking? I know everyones different, but yeah always keen to learn how people do it. Thanks.

when your dreams are out of context that´s already a good dream sign My dreams are the same and as RC I ask myself where I am/who is with me/ what am I doing and if this is possible.... the only problem about this is that your mind could make out dumb explanations for the odd contexts, at least that´s my problem. so it´s probably better to combine this with some other dream sign, maybe flying?

Lol yeah I have the same problem.. my dreams are ALWAYS out of context - just my braaaaain always reasons with the current situation lol. If I had more out of it situations in the day I could R/C then but my days are always pretty consistent/"normal".. hmmm Cheers anyway, Ill be a bit more critical with my surroundings

you should experiment with your RC's whenever your gaming hard..... then u may be able to get a P in ya
