Recall ONLY AFTER movement?

I've been working on my (still-bad) dream recall for the past several days and have noticed (at least for yesterday, today, and the day before) that I cannot remember anything at all while lying still in my bed. I begin to remember my dreams when I begin to move around, shower, get dressed, etc. This remembrance is kind of odd, in a oh-that's-what-wasn't-on-the-shopping-list sort of fashion. I am not a kinetic learner at all, if that makes any difference. I'm pretty sure I'll eventually start remembering as soon as I wake up, y'know, this is just some weird thing. But how can this be happening? I thought muscle use distracted dream recall.

Are you seeing things that remind you of the dream? Sometimes I don't remember dreams for hours after waking up and then I see something and go, "Oh yeah." Or is it just completely spontaneous?

No, just spontaneous. Today, I was brushing my teeth and remembered that I had had my first LD, flying and exploding in front of zombie-like children.

Are you seeing things that remind you of the dream? Sometimes I don't remember dreams for hours after waking up and then I see something and go, "Oh yeah." Or is it just completely spontaneous? One time I had thought i hadnt remembered a single dream. And then I was watching music videos (RHCP's Hump de Bump lol) and it all just came back to me because of similarities. Sometimes if you write down just keywords when you wake up at night, like writing down, "internet forum" or "Dubai" it will jog your memory when you read it.

I have the same situation When I awake,(and I think this is from marijuana usage) I don't remember a thing As I get on my computer to log in my DJ the few parts and basics I remember, I start with a sentence, and I end up writing a whole page about my dream. I don't know why it works this way, everyone is different.

It sometimes happens to me. I wake up and I know I had a dream but I couldn't remember it. I got up and took a shower and after that I remembered it.

Lucky. I'm jealous haha. I can remember them in pretty vivid detail the moment I wake up and just chill in bed. But if I don't right them down *poof* thier gone. I also sometimes can't remember them at all if I'm force awaked.
