      Smile Dream recall...

      My dream recall is bad.

I use a DJ whenever i remember anything about a dream at all.
Would anyone know ways to increase dream recall?
I sit in bed and dont move and I still cant remember anything.

I recall a dream every 2-3 days usually..
I seem to be able to remember lucids better than non-lucids because about 60% of the dreams in my DJ are lucid.
Wish me luck on getting my next lucid!

Hello friends ,What can I say to myself as I'm falling asleep as to make myself know when something weird is happening?
Last night I was in the sears tower in chicago looking out over the city and up on a hill overlooking the city was the Taj Mahal. I was pretty disappointed when I woke up and realized I didn't recognize that dream sign.

What it takes is time and consistency. lucyyenic, are you keeping a dream journal? That's really step 1. By writing own your dreams and thinking about them during the day, and by having a special book devoted especially to dreams, you make them central. Keep doing this. Also think about the dream state, how it differs from the waking state and how they're the same. Find the dreamlike nature of waking life. GEt used to doing reality checks.. not just mindlessly by plugging your nose or poking a finger at your palm -- really look around and look for any inconsistencies in the surroundings. Think back... can you remember where you just came from - what you were doing a few minutes ago?

Do these things a lot... many times during the day. Make them part of your normal daily life, and they'll filter into your dream world.

oowa, your problem is harder to know how to address. You're already keeping a DJ too. Maybe you're not waking up from REM sleep? The only thing I can think of would be maybe set an alarm and hope it wakes you from a dream? I don't know.

Another thing you can do is when your going to bed feel as if your going to dream rather then just pass out asleep, it will make you mentally sleep lighter.
