      MILD-1 kidjordan

I've used MILD 5 times before and I succeeded 2 times. 40% is pretty good in my mind. I'll Improve.

      MILD techniques:
      1. Write in my waking journal to get my mind off of my waking life.
1.1. Go on Dream Views to get my mind focused on lucid dreaming.
      2. Stretch (to relax)
      3. Lay in bed.
      4. Breathing exercises
      5. relaxation exercises from EWLD.
      6. Present state of consciousness exercise from EWLD.
      7. Visualizations. Affirmations/mantras.
      8. wake up 6 hours later. Write down they keywords of my dreams.
      9. Go back to bed. repeat 4-7.
      10. HAVE A LUCID DREAM!

Things I may do in addition:
      1. take supplements such as melatonin and B6. (Recommended dosage??)
      2. listen to Binaural beats. (any suggestions??)
      3. Any other ideas??

During the day I try to do RC's when
      1. I wake up
      2. open my eyes (thanks for the suggestion Percy)
      3. see myself in the mirror
      4. eat food
      5. Hear the bell at school.

This is what I'd like to do. I normally am pretty bad about sticking to this schedule.

No recall last this morning. Even if I did, I didn't have to time to write it down because I had to go to school. I'll have to wake up earlier and go to sleep earlier if I want to recall my dreams. So perhaps I'll go to bed at 9:00 and wake up at 3:00, WBTB, go back to bed, wake up at 6:00, recall the dreams, go to school. That's the goal at least.

Very little recall from last night. I know that the dream was in fact very long but I didn't have time to lay in bed and recall it. I do remember that I was going out with two attractive ladies at my school (not at the same time).

I also recall that at one point I realized I was dreaming and I do know that it lasted about 3 seconds. I do not remember what triggered the lucidity or even what the dream was about. A possible reason for this was that I took 3 mg of melatonin last night before I went to bed. So far, the 2 times of taken melatonin I've had lucid dreams.

It is now the weekend so I will be able to really focus on my dreaming.

It's going good. Schools just started up so It's good to see friends. The problem is that I'm not adjusted to the school schedule yet so it is hard to recall dreams when I'm lacking enough sleep and enough time in the morning to recall the dreams. Melatonin is a great asset. For example, I was SUPER energetic 20 minutes ago then I took 3mg of melatonin. Now I'm tired as can be. I also bought some B6 supplements to take during my WBTBs.

Basically, I've got everything planned out. I just need to execute.

I hope you get used to school soon. Big changes in waking affect a lot sleep life. I almost broke a 97 day streak recalling at least one dream every single night last night due major changes in waking (my business) and decreased from an average of 4-5 dreams per night to 1-2 with no lucids. I have not been focused at all actually, that happens every time to time to all of us.

Try to adjust and daydream, visualize your dream to incubate, etc (Not while you are getting a lecture at school!!!!!)

      Thanks for the advice Percy.

I had a little recall last night.

I was back in my old middle school. My old basketball coach was there. He was giving us these old uniforms to put on so we could take a team picture. I remember that one of my old team mates was running suicides and my grandma commented on how fast he was.

I was a mobster or something. My crew and I went into someone's house and we were trying to kill something very very small. I think it was either a bacteria or an ant. One of the members of my gang broke open a bottle of tea to try to find it. I remember squishing an ant.

If .5 seconds counts, then I had a lucid dream. I woke up immediately after I realized I was dreaming. There was no way I could have possibly stabilized it. I tried to lay as still as possible to reenter the dream state by WILDing. It didn't work and I fell back asleep. For all I know, it could have been a false awakening because I did not move to do a reality check. Any ideas on reality checks I can do without opening my eyes or moving?

I took 1.5mg of melatonin before bed and I took 50mg of B6 during my WBTB... No LD. The melatonin did make me tired quickly though. I think I'm going to stop taking it though because I don't want to experience any weird side effects. I'll use it in moderation.

      Space Exploration:
I can't really say what point of view I was viewing this dream from. I saw the universe as if it was a map. I was talking to a being (don't know if it was an alien or human or what) and he was saying to me "if you want to last in this game, you have to use the wormholes". Basically, we were trying to extend our lives. I remember a vivid picture of the night sky with a TON of stars. The dream fast forwarded to a ceremony celebrating brilliant physicists. I think one was a woman named Goldstein.

I was in this strange store. It had a pool in it. I distinctly remember the feeling of bobbing up and down in the pool. It also had a store area where you could buy smoothies and chocolate and stuff. I bought a strawberry covered in white chocolate and it tasted GREAT!!! The dream fast forwards and I'm outside of the store and the guy who made the smoothies is there with me. He said he was a nutritionist but he wasn't certified. He started to walk away from me and he was taking my friend B away. Apparently he was her father in the dream.

I had a vantage point from a tree house. I saw these kids start drinking from a juice carton and the second they started drinking, a swarm of kids came up on them and started asking them for juice. I thought to myself that those kids were damn moochers. As I climbed the ladder down from the treehouse, it started raining chocolate milk and it stained my shirt.

No melatonin... please... you really do not need it....

If you want some B6... go for it, it has no side effect and it's water soluble (although it is not really necessary) but avoid other stuff, plz.

Yeah. I've kinda got the picture with that. I felt like I was in a mental fog for the first couple days of school. I don't know whether I just wasn't used to being in school or if the melatonin had something to do with it. Either way, I'm staying away from it. I don't like feeling stupid

I'm sorry I haven't been able to do much LD stuff the past week. I've been very busy in school life. I'll keep up with the lessons but as far as applying them goes, I don't know if I'll have enough time in my schedule to seriously attempt MILD.
