Blacklight's SD Workbook

10/9 - Two lucids, both preceded by lengthy non lucids

First: Don't remember much of the non lucid part, aside from being in an orchard and a tank attacked the villa (and there was some zombie apocalypse dream before that). I double checked my watch and then leaped toward the tank. When I was finished with that, I got inside and made myself a harem.

Second: I was obsessed with making an appointment, despite the dream starting with me going home from that appointment. My parents were supposed to take me there and suffice to say, they didn't. After a really, and I mean really long trip (which included my dad driving so bad I actually told him that I didn't drive that bad even in the GTA games, him running over an armed man and then my family beating up another armed man who played victim to the first one), I made it inside of a building (administrative-something type) and some villain with a plasma rifle was waiting. I dodged his shots, started wrestling him, but he turned half robot and started to try to bash me. The special forces showed up just when I finished him and gave me some suit that seemed to be able to phase through dimensions. So when the second villain tried to slash me with a machete I dodged it and when he tried to throw it at me, I phased again and caught it, finishing him off later. Also note that all but the last sentence of the "spec ops" thing was like a video game.
After another lengthy walk around (which included combating dinosaurs and riding elephants) I walked somewhere and just recognized the environment, which was another town (which I don't happen to live in). I went lucid, started running like mad and the dream started fading. I relaxed, and I was greeted by a screen which made me choose between what languages would show up in my dream (choices were Latin, Greek, Spanish and Italian). Since I chose Italian, the first DC I saw I greeted with "Signore... [waves arm] buongiorno..." he didn't reply in Italian so I figured screw it.
I saw a two-part metal door and decided to finally go to my meeting point which I decided to go to so long ago, so i said "believe it or not, but when I pass through this gate I'll be there" while walking there.
Not much was alike the meeting point (floor tiling, general street layout), but I decided to go on with it. And after I extended my arms forward (telekinesis-taunting-invitational-arms-forward kind of pose) I said "come here [name], you know you want it", but, of course, my alarm clock woke me up.

But there's one new thing that never happened in my dreams till now.
It snowed.

10/10 - Lots of non lucids + one lucid

Non Lucid: I was being led by a bodybuilder kinda guy into some room high in a glass covered building (from a beach). In the lobby was some black guy with dreadlocks, a beard and a funny hat playing the two same notes on an antique looking polished black piano. The inside of the room looked familiar. I even thought "I've been here before but the layout of the place has changed". It was full of people working out or something and the bodybuilder guy just hopped on a table making contact with both of his inner thighs to the pointy ends of a table, and then rolled around in pain. Then some fat guy entered, towing a medieval cannon. Yes, a cannon.
All the people were suddenly gone and it went third person. I watched some guy (who was me) stuff gunpowder (three fistloads of it) into the cannon and then putting in a baseball bat. First person again.
I duck and wait for the cannon to go off. It does but the baseball bat just goes through the window and down. I lean on the windowsill to see what happened.

You know these flarey things that happen when fireworks explode? Those happened. Many of those. Purple, yellow, gold etc.
I saw some people down there running away from it and then pointing toward our window looking angry and stuff. I asked my faithful fat companion "You know they're gonna get us for this, you know? They're pointing here, and they're gonna get us!" and then woke up feeling terrified.

Then I dived into a LD (after 40min of trying to fall asleep). Spent some 20 seconds marveling at everything (remembering Nomad's description and saying to myself "He was right. It's beautiful.") but then it just turned into a quest for finding porn/women. All the potential, just wasted.

10/11 - a non lucid that was more disturbing than it should have been

I was sitting in some office/work space when someone delivered me a paper to sign along with a newspaper cutout. It seems like the person I was trying to summon in my dreams all this time was shot dead by a drunk old lady who was singing something ("according to the witness reports"), and the paper I was supposed to sign was an obituary. I barely signed the thing without breaking down.
Jesus man what the hell.

10/12 - non lucid night again

I woke up (in a dream), got out real quick and saw that it was night. I got down on the floor and thought "maybe I should do a reality check" but then two small dogs got all friendly with me. By the time I got rid of them I saw one extremely skinny black cat chained to another (chain neck to neck), less skinny black cat. I started thinking "they must have problems hunting this way so that's why they're so skinny. That chain has got to be heavy too. Too bad they can't synchronize." and then started thinking "who the hell would do this? and why?"

I'm not accomplishing much :/

10/13 - Last night has been a good night. Two lucids and one long time goal of mine was accomplished

First: I was at work. I saw someone playing around with those bricks (or what?) of silver at their table. I got lucid and tried to get out but one DC kept pulling me by the hand. I released myself after a while and got out. I was at the "rendezvous point" where I tried to summon that person for so many times but failed. "Could my dreams be coming true? hehehe" I wondered. I asked out loud "Where is she?" and saw her getting out of a silver car on the parking lot. "This is my brother" she said. "How old is he anyways?" I asked. "I told you last year. Weren't you listening?" she responded.
"But last year was... last year, and that was a long time ago." I told her. Since she didn't respond I asked her "What are you doing here anyways? I thought you went to the Midwest."
She looked terribly confused so I asked again "How did you get here?"
"What are you talking about? We are in the midwest." she said
"All I see here are old buildings and the place we used to work at"
"I don't see any of those"
And then the dream began to fade and I woke up.

Second: It started near the place I woke up but it was dark and when I approached the place it looked nothing like it. "This isn't the place, I've got to get out of here" I said and started to breathe faster and tried to run. As I noticed the dream began to fade I said to myself "Relax... relax..." and began to breathe slower, but woke up anyways.

Last night was a good night.

10/14 - Four short LDs (by quantity possibly a record breaker but by quality they were all together less worthy then one standard dream).

First: Woke up in that apartment again. Some kids started to bother me and I went out, straight into another apartment. Tried to get through a mirror but an old woman pulled me back in. Went back into the first apartment and tried again, yet she didn't let me go. Woke up.

Second: Same apartment, though I "woke up" there in a different place, with a TV and a bookshelf to my right. The books were nonsense, so I turned on the TV. Quickly turned it off and went to the balcony where I tried to summon some DCs. Failed and went up to the mirror. I said "Take me where you think is best", jumped in and got through - but only to find myself in the apartment again. Woke up.

Third: "woke up" in the center of a town. I thought I had an "appointment" again and got to a low bridge. A ship was just going to go under it so I jumped on the ship. Didn't see much that would be relevant. Woke up.

Fourth: "woke up" further from the center, the dream quickly turned into a search for porn and women. Some bunch of fat guys tried to attack me so I beat them up. Woke up.

15/10 - One LD

I started the dream (lucid) in a bed, got up and saw TV working and some guys beating eachother up. I thought that this would be a good time to test my time manipulation skills so I said "now do it backwards", started gesturing and they did it all again but backwards. I then left the room and the dream turned into some lame movie drama I watched and sometimes was a part of.

16/10 - Non Lucid

I was in a half-ruined house in the middle of the woods using some drill to draw by damaging the wall. I never could accomplish what I tried no matter how many times I tried to perfect whatever it was I was doing so by the time I was done nothing was left of the house.

10/17 - One lucid

I was in my room, took a look at the turned off TV. In the reflection was someone who wasn't there, so after I turned around he was there after all. I tried to make the DC realize he's not real by asking some questions.
"So, what's the height of Mount Everest?" I asked. "It doesn't work that way." he responded. I asked him "Could you try to look like someone else?" he said "No. But if you want to I can impersonate Mark Wahlberg." and then he made some serious face. I left with my task unfinished.

10/18 - A lucid dream I seriously considered entering in my DJ as an entry

The intro to the dream was me in some room filled with robots and vats and stuff, like a giant lab. "Your dream is ready, master." a robotic voice echoed. I stepped on some platform and felt the feeling of falling down, just to find myself in a dream.
The dream started in front of a hotel of sorts (new design, glass everywhere. I think the name may have started with an S) and I immediately realized I was dreaming. Did the nose pinch RC and then went to some old guy in a suit to ask him something.
"Scuse me sir, would ye mind telling me where (name) is?" Then I realized two things: First: My voice and accent were those of Eric Idle, second: I was wearing leather shoes without socks, a business shirt and black pants that you usually wear with a suit. I went in the hotel and looked for another DC that I never seem to be able to find. I found the dry cleaning area, the medical department, a piano (which I tried out) and basically everyone and everything but that which I went looking for. When I returned to the hall, I saw two kids playing with fire and a gas valve open nearby. I took the lighter from them and said to the nearby construction workers "you're welcome" but they said "you didn't do anything, the safety was on". So I got out of there and went to another room. In front of me was Neo.
Like, Neo from the Matrix. He said "I know what you are" and added
"You can not hope to fight an overwhelming power. Join me."
Standard DC BS I thought. Beating up the Chosen One could be fun. So I got my battle stance ready, but then my powers were somehow disabled and the entire dream turned into a sequence of numbers and letters, like the matrix. I got out of it only to find myself barely standing and him unaffected.

But then I thought about what side he was on, and if he was on that side what was on the other side. Some narrative voice inside my head started to speak
"If he needs you then what does the opposition have? How can you even know he is what he says he is? And what if he isn't what he says he is at all but the other side pretending to be him, looking for a reason to execute you?" Then the picture of an Agent briefly appeared in front of my eyes where he was "How could you even hope to survive with taking a side if everyone on both sides is stronger then you? There is only one solution."

"Leave me alone" I told Neo and the dream ended.

I found myself back in the laboratory and robots were scurrying everywhere. Some of them looked like they were designed for battle. "Did they take over the Earth when I wasn't looking?" I asked myself, and then the dream really ended.

10/19 - One non lucid

A 2D platformer turned into me getting chased by a raging bull and jumping mad distances over lava across platforms made of spider web. I'd say I had my first nightmare (of sorts) in a long time.

Not quite sure what you're talking about. It looked like a generic giant bull with red eyes (though it was held back by some chain, that's the only reason it didn't rip me to ribbons I think).

Anyways, 20/10 - One non lucid

I was in an RPG game, in a giant library filled with all kinds of books (the only title I managed to read was something like "The Forbidden Bible") which I fully intended to read through but was interrupted. I was attacked by the Pope. Yes, the Pope.

Hmm... I have been a lava minotaur in dreams, and also a Hellhound held back by a great chain. Unfortunately, my dream recall is down.

21/10 - Bunch of fake awakenings (several got lucid)

First thing I remember was getting lucid and then having a bet someone. "If I'm right you'll let me do your wife" (I have no idea who I was talking to) and while we were shaking hands I asked "But if I'm not... what do you want?"
Next thing I remember was squatting while someone was shitting all over me (I kid you not), me choking the guy and then walking away with three bags of potato chips. I thought "I'm not gonna need those, won't have time to eat them anyway. Gotta remember to see my dream guide too." and then had a false awakening.

The second dream (after the false awakening number one) started with me hearing a horrible noise in my head and pain, then my left ear started to bleed. I got out of my room and found myself in the apartment I usually end up in with people calling for medical assistance. Also during the time I was being patched up someone claimed to be my real mother (which is strange because I know her and she's my age). Follow false awakening number two.

The third dream started with me in a kitchen, going lucid and trying to change the environment to something less dull, so I tried to get to the White House. I was supposed to try and meet my dream guide there, but after I got trough a wall I had another (and the last) false awakening.

I was home and I had some guests. I greeted them and went out. My surroundings weren't like anything I've ever seen until then and I went for a walk. After some half a minute of walking me and some small kids (I don't know how they tagged along) found a well. Sand suddenly burst out of the well and my dad got near it. I yelled at him to get away from it but he didn't listen and got dissolved in it. "This is the apocalypse, eh? I was hoping for some meteors." I thought as I ran away from an increasingly violent sandstorm. Some guys I know tried to go in the direction of the sandstorm but I told them "You don't want to go there. It's the end of the world there. See that building right there? Look at it." I was pointing at a cityscape in which the giant storm started to eat up buildings. We started to walk away from that and got to another city, where we discussed what we should do next. I don't remember anything else from this.

Awesome! So close to finding your dream guide!!!

22/10 - One LD, one non lucid

The lucid followed after a non lucid in which I visited the 13th floor of a giant hotel. I had a false awakening and looked for the hotel on the internet. Realized I was dreaming and found myself flying all over a cityscape. Landed on a market and decided to mess with some dream characters. I twisted their arms (as well as mine) for 360 degrees and similar things, made them do things using my mind (which felt good) and then woke up.

The non lucid was sort of like a zombie apocalypse movie. Started with some guys on a wooden platform with one guy saying "this should last through the night but if metal doors can't stop them this won't either", the other guy falling down and starting to shoot like a retard everywhere. Then there was a face of a grinning zombie looking from a sewer opening.
Next scene: A giant zombie with the legs of a spider, one arm looking like a blade and the other was a meat eating plant (looks scarier then it sounds), cutting the guy in half from head to toe. Then it started to chase me and I outsmarted it and hid sort of in plain sight while it walked right by me. It somehow detected me after it was already away and then I pressed the pause button (lol) and the dream turned into a video game about the apocalypse in which I used cheats and got an anti tank rifle.

I've been away for the last couple of days but tried WILD-ing a lot.

23/10 - Unsuccessful WILD attempt, one non lucid where I watch people drive their cars off a cliff into a river.

24/10 - Two lucids by WILD, in both I stray off my original goals to find my dream guide

25/10 - One non lucid where I am in a video game and then go playing hockey with crowbars

26/10 - Three lucids by WILD, in both of them I fail to find my dream guide and in the first one I let go of lucidity to follow some ridiculous dream plot

27/10 - Three lucids of which only one is really relevant

After some fights etc. (some mafia guys) I decided I've had enough, just relaxed and walked away. I asked one DC "Do you have any information regarding the whereabouts of my Dream Guide?"
He answered "yes". I told him "so take me there". He took me to some house where a funny looking short guy was standing. "Who are you?" I asked. He pointed toward me with his finger and said "I'm you".
So then I asked him "what's with the unibrow?"
He was silent so I asked him "can you help me summon something?"
"Nope."
I walked away and he tried to follow me but got hit by a car and vanished.

If that's him I'm sort of disappointed.

28/10 - Non lucid

A dream about some superman movie (old style) which ends with Superman hugging the bad guy.

29/10 - Several lucids

In one I was with a group of vigilantes murdering a vandal when I realized I was lucid and walked to a restaurant asking DCs what their names were.
In the other (which was a false awakening) I was in that apartment again and I just couldn't get out whatever I did. I punched through a wall (after several attempts) and went through, only to find myself back in the building, and again and again. It was fairly disturbing.
And in the last one I was looking at rifle designs wondering if I'll see anything new and original since I'm dreaming.
There was another dream in which I was in a video game but I don't think it was lucid.

30/10 - One lucid where I debate with a DC (a pretty one sided dialogue) why he isn't real

1/11 - More non lucids with ridiculous movie plots

2/11 - A mix of two video games plus spartan soldiers free for all

3/11 - The longest lucid I've ever had. It wasn't even interesting, it just went on and on and on. I tried to get that dream guide but to no avail. Had one false awakening where everything is destroyed and heard a voice "Everything has its consequences. Even dreams.", so I blamed everything on myself. Then I did a reality check and got lucid again and I told the voice to go f itself since my dreams are my own and can hardly have any real world consequences.

4/11 - A non-lucid about revenge

5/11 - One lucid where I watch TV with some hot TV star and then I - get this - pull her out of the TV. You can guess the rest.

6/11 - That apartment again. Lucid.

7/11 - Whole load of lucids, but only one really sticks out. I went through a wall out of my room just to find myself back in my room with a huge mirror in which there's another me who looks much younger. I told him "you're dreaming" but thought to myself "I don't remember having a dream where anyone tells me that" so I left. Met another DC on a street later and greeted her in a foreign language. She said "this doesn't sound like something you'd say" and I told her "I've been taking lessons for two years now, remember?" she didn't seem to believe me and left.

8,9,11/11 - Some lucids, some non lucids, only one really interesting dream. My family (some members) took turns in telling me what would've happened to my life if I hadn't moved once. I'll only say I'm now more than happy with what I have now.
