Machete- Easily one of the best Mexploitation movies I've seen. Cheesy over the top action. Tons of blood. A storyline better than most action films. It's the movie Robert Rodriguez should have made for Grindhouse.

That's agent smith and he's a creeper
watch the matrix its an awesome movie
Why? Sure, actually seeing excrements is not a pleasurable experience, but seeing a person just sitting on the pot, I don't see how that's offensive or disgusting. It might be a little comical though. There will nearly always be a scene in all cop movies/tv series, where two colleagues are talking to each other while in the men's room, for example.
The Matrix takes place many many years into the future, and all religion has been abandoned in the real world, though it still persists inside the Matrix (the virtual world). Only one or two spiritual persons are actually seen in the real world, and they just believe some kind of hoodoo voodoo thing. Also, spoilers, them having sex is essential to the survival of the human race, so skipping formalities such as marriage is necessary.Quote:
Plus, I'd bet you a bunch of money that whoever they were weren't married to each other, and I believe you know where I stand on that issue.
If I remember correctly, you should be 14 or 15 by now. If you think sex is garbage, then I don't know what the hell.Quote:
In the end though, I just don't watch R rated films. Yeah, reality has lots of garbage in it, but I watch movies/read books to escape garbage, not get an extra dose of it. There are plenty of good non R rated movies out there, so I don't feel like I'm missing out on much.
Well, no. I wouldn't mind a shot of someone sitting on the toilet. But if we are to keep an accurate analogy here, you would see everything, and you would see the excretement occur. That: is disgusting and uncivilized.Quote:

So then, they have an excuse for breeding without being married. Fair enough.Quote:

However, they still don't have to show it actually happening.
I don't think that the concept itself is garbage.Quote:
If you think sex is garbage, then I don't know what the heck.
However, it is a private thing, and should be kept private. Not displayed on a huge theatre screen in front of a bunch of people.
Now, for me, as a Christian, I have more reasons.
It's more than just private. It's special. Sacred.
It's something sacred to be kept between one man, and one woman. That was how it was created to be. Displaying it happening on screen for anybody to watch cheapens it, and will very likely end up causing lust. Yes, it probably will. And, lust is a form of adultery.
But you don't believe any of that, so...
Anyways. I don't want to turn out a huge debate here.
This is the way I feel, and I couldn't, with a good conscience, watch an R rated film with a ton of swearing and violence and nudity.
As this implies, as a Christian, the Holy Spirit dwells within me. I have a responsibility to keep myself clean. If I can avoid seeing nudity, swearing, and gore, then I will.Quote:

It's still funny that you're calling sex 'garbage', but thanks for saying thanks anyway.Quote:

Thanks for the answers Xei and Oneironaut.

Dude, some day in a few years you're going to look back at these posts and squirm with embarrassment, I swear.
On what are you basing your 'knowledge' of sex scenes if you've never seen one? I feel sorry for you, you've clearly been exposed to some extreme propaganda, fearmongering and lies from your mentors.
Sex scenes don't 'show everything'. The idea that a sex scene in a mainstream movie would explicitly show penetration as you seem to believe will be found absolutely hilarious by virtually anybody else your age, I guarantee you.
There's a difference between Hollywood and porn for chrissakes. In virtually every sex scene in mainstream movies the worst thing you're going to see is breasts.
It's pretty clear to me that the people who are supposed to be looking after you are sheltering you from living a decent life with complete lies. Please try to start expanding who you listen to and forming some proper objective opinions rather than eating up all this shit you're being fed by those in your immediate vicinity.

You want the one on the right, Noogah.
It seems I shall have to resort to quoting myself:Quote:

But, your point is taken. My analogy isn't a perfect one.
However...
For it to be called a "sex scene", I think it's fair to assume there's going to be more in there than I want to see of it. That's all I'm saying.
The worst I want to see in a movie is kissing. If it goes beyond that, then it isn't something I wish to see.
You people seem to think I'm controlled by what others tell me. That may be how it works in the public schools, but it isn't how I work. My primary "mentor" is God, and his word. I usually take what people say with a grain of salt until I have researched it myself, and you would be surprised if you knew how much I differ from my Christian peers.
A "sex scene" isn't actually a scene with sex in it, it's just to people lying on top of each other, sometimes without clothes on, sometimes showing boobs. Theoretically it's as much a sex scene as if you read it in a book.
I agree with Xei. When you grow older, you're gonna have a hard time facing how this world actually works.
You are severely limiting your options when it come to movies, films and pictures. Now... a lot of Religious art has nudity and what not in it.. I'd get some examples, but I don't think the Mods would like that.
I don't understand what what you find so freaking offensive about sex. Its natural and nothing to be disgusted about.
Man I hate religion for this exact reason
Go find out for yourself. ;D
And just because a film is "R" rated, doesn't mean it should be R-rated... I saw the Matrix when I was thirteen and loved it. If you still don't believe me, go on imdb and look at the parental advisory. Nothing scarring at all, not even for you.
lol.
I'm so afraid that I'll have to wait twenty some years for a movie to crush The Matrix from being the greatest movie ever. Inception is nowhere near as good, as great, as brilliant as The Matrix...
and ye +1 @ "When you grow older, you're gonna have a hard time facing how this world actually works."
Well, yeah :? What DO you consider that?Quote:

In any case, it's definitely nothing I wish to see.
Well, respectfully, you and Xei are quite wrong. I strongly disagree with including sex/nudity in public performances, including movies. In no way does this imply that I will have a difficult time "facing how this world actually works". :rolleyes:Quote:

You know what I do instead? I don't watch R rated movies with sex/nudity. In fact, just to be safe, I don't watch R rated movies. Bingo! Problem solved.
Nonsense. There are many many many many many non R rated movies/films/pictures/books/media/etc. without explicit content. And more are made all the time.Quote:
