"The beard is out there" (Spock's Beard)

Are there any other fans here of the 90s neo-prog rock group Spock's Beard? Those guys are crazy, and being progressive rock their music sounds like a mix of Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, and Dream Theater. (at least for SB's first 6 albums, their newer ones have a way different sound...)

Besides their music, the name is pretty crazy as well. I'm just curious if any of you guys have heard of them or are into their music.

My Dad's a big Spock's Beard fan. He also likes Transatlantic and Neil Morse's solo albums. I also like some of their material. My favourite songs of theirs are...

      June
      Day For Night
      Skin
      On The Edge
      Onomatopoeia
      There Was A Time
      As Long As We Ride
      The Light
      All On A Sunday
At The End Of The Day

I hope to go seeing them during their European tour this year

Yeah, I never really checked out Transatlantic (maybe only one or two songs), but Neal Morse's solo stuff is great... I dunno if I'll get to see them live, but they've got a new live album coming out that I want to get. My favorite Spock's Beard albums would probably be "V" and "the Light", as for songs:

      -The Light
      -Go the Way you go
      -Beware of Darkness
      -Thoughs
      -Walking on the Wind
      -In the Mouth of Madness
      -Flow
      -Day for Night
      -Crack the Big Sky
      -Mommy Comes Back
-At the End of the Day
      -Revelation
      -All on a Sunday
      -The Great Nothing
      -Long Time Suffering
      -39th Street Blues
      -Wind at my Back
      -Open The Gates, pt 2
-Ladies and Gentlemen (Mister Ryo Okumoto on the keyboards)
      -Ballet of the Impact
      -Watching the TIde
      -As Long as we Ride

I've not really listened to Transatlantic or Morse's solo stuff. I've heard a few tracks from Okumoto's solo album. It features Steve Lukather, Bobby Kimball and Simon Phillips form Toto, and Glen Hughes!

Octane is probably my favourite so far, as it's the most commercial and catchy. I would have liked to see them live with Neal Morse, but Nick D'Virgillo is an excellent replacement.
