I saw this a few days ago. I wasn't expecting too much, because all the "dead" moives were only so-so, none very groundbreaking. I always stick to 28 days later as the best "zombie" movie.

But it's been nearly 20 years since Romero's done a film. He's finally taken a shot, and I say he's still got some spunk to his film. He knows how to keep the style updated. I didn't think this one movie was as disturbing as the other ones, "Dawn of the Dead" remake was creepier, imo. But he made sure this movie was more character driven and oriented, which was nice to keep the audience engaged.

Waiting for other comments.
