Yeah it's been getting pushed back forever..

As of now (I think it's official), it'll be released July 7th. Limited though...so probably only major cities in North America.

And Radiohead has confirmed that they're doing the score.

      and it is a trip

PKD was a unique talent. A Scanner Darkly is quite a trip of a book.

If you like PKD or Horselover Fat as he sometimes went by, check out his biography Divine Invasions : A Life of Philip K. Dick by Lawrence Sutin. Includes stories of angels, aliens, CIA, spiritual healing, and copious drug use.

PKD seems proof of the closeness between madness and genius.

i will have to check out the biography. I always liked the VALIS books, which were supposed to be at least semi-autobiographical, and dealt quite heavily with "divine invasions."
