      Good singleplayer game

      I'm looking for a fun singleplayer PC game to play, now that I finished HL2 (ending was great). Anyone got any recommendations?
      need to actually start like trying to LD i've pretty much started that now kinda.

      oblivion is good if u got a good computer that can handle the graphics. It's fun to cheat in the PC version u can totally pwn every NPC in the game easily.
      Oh... don't worry about that... that's supposed to happen

      If you enjoy RTS games, giving Starcraft/Broodwar a play threw is always fun. Also, Command and Conquer General's and the expansion is also really fun (Plus super cheap)

      yeah oblivion is a cool game. I played it on the 360 and just finished it. Again, I've heard horror stories about computers crashing while running the game. If your into that kinda thing I liked Elder Scrolls: Morrowind a lot better than oblivion.
      Why does it seem so hard to wake up now and see who we really are?

      I have also played Oblvion a fair bit too.

      I think I may just wait till Ep 2... then Crysis... then Ep 3.

      By then, I am sure there will be more games to look forward to/play.

      I've been patiently awaiting Bioshock for Xbox 360. I'm pretty sure it's coming to PC as well. If you haven't seen the demos, do a search and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

      If you like HL2, you'll probably like F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon). It's a free FPS with a very impressive storyboard and graphics, and also has an element of, well, fear.

      Personally, however, I prefer very fast-paced games, my favorite single-player game being Stepmania.

      I'd definately recommend F.E.A.R too. It's by far the best fps I've ever played. Great atmosphere and interactive environments.

      Adopted Megabenman although he disappeared a while ago.
