      Pivot

Search Pivot Animator on Google. This is pretty good actually! But, does this look like someone walking to you? I didn't make the Stickman by the way.

Flash = Spending Money, which I can't do.

The only reason I don't use Flash.

      Ah, okay.

Well, no experience with pivot but I can say that you could get a much smoother walk-cycle then that. (the animation you showed is pretty much flailing limbs + horizontal movement)

I was bored so I made a simple prancing walk-cycle.

The thing that pissed me off the most though, was that I couldn't edit previous frames.

I used to use Pivot a lot, but I got too impatient with it eventually. I always used to make stickmen fly or dash off in a cartoon style to try and avoid making them walk.

Well if you can, Arby, could you give me a few tips on how you made that?

Well where he improves on yours Jdeadevil is that he has more frames, making it more smooth. He also only makes the character "move" when a foot is drawn back. As well as this he has vertical movement as well. You have to think in terms of human anatomy. A person doesn't glide along like a robot, they move up, down, right, left and every which way.

Yeah, lots of frames. he moves only slightly each frame. altogeather, that cycle is 8 frames or so. (and its only one step!) both legs keep doing the same animation. They don't switch with each other =P

I am a pivot master. If you have any questions, pm me. And yeah, you can edit previous frames if you just click on the frame you want to edit at the top.

Whenever I tried to edit a previous frame, It wouldn't save whatever I did....

But I don't feel the need to learn pivot. Its all flash for me =O

Once you edit the frame, you have to hit "next frame" to save it.

I just can't do it, how do you press his feet down on the ground, because the leg that has just come forward doesn't exactly hit the ground because it's not long enough, as human's can rotate their body, you can't do that on Pivot, or can you?

Remember, the legs are often bent at the knees and the torso will move up and down. Try walking a few steps yourself and see what I mean. Or, better yet ask someone else and watch them from the side.
