      Book for school -

      Hi all! (first post)

I have to do a project for school, and part of it involves reading a novel. Does anyone on this forum know of any novels related to lucid dreaming, or anything similair to "The Matrix"? I want to read something I'm interested in for this

      Thanks

You should be able to do a good ol' google search for some books on the subject. Good choice! I'll try and have a look as well...there must be plenty of them on LD'ing and many many more on normal dreams.

The main guide to LDing is Stephen LaBerge's "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming." It's not a novel, but it's good for gathering information about LDing.

If you're looking for a novel.... *thinks* Well... it may be kind of a stretch, but you could try reading "We" by Zamyatin or "1984" by George Orwell. Both deal with a futuristic socity that is being completely controlled and regulated and where people are kept in a confined area to keep them from "the outside world". One of the main themes behind the book is looking beyond what you see and are told and seeking out the truth.

"If there was one thing the lucid dreaming ninja writer could not stand, it was used car salesmen."
