      Best Romance Movie/Story...?

      Hello,

I am trying to do some research for an upcoming book of mine.

What is the best romance movie/story you have seen that suits the following:
      - The couple loves each other.
      - Their love is coupled with interdependence and how much they understand each other.

In other words, not a movie where love is simply unconditional love or a romance movie where love is an eternal power, entity, etc.

I am having great difficulty finding a story that encapsulates this. (Another reason why I am writing the book).

I don't even know if this is anything to do with what you're talking about but the video game for Playstation Two called Final Fantasy X has a great romantic story line. Just thought I'd like to point that out.

      Ideas from that maybe?

Is that with Tidus and what's her name..? I don't remember it being very romantic so much as a developing crush on each other..? It was the first FF (I think..?) to have a romantic fmv with a kiss though.

Yes, it was. I thought the same. Her name is Yuna, but the girl should really be Rikku because she is much prettier than Yuna.

And on that note she is better at everything besides summoning monsters which isn't very lady like.

If you want to appeal to the vast vast masses watch "the notebook"

I hate it; but every other person loves it.

For brilliance, look at "Romeo+Juliet". The modern version diected by Baz Luhrmann. With gangsters and stuff.

On hindsight I think this Romeo+Juliet is perfect for what you have requested.. It's also a brilliant film.

I considered Notebook; it comes close but as close as Michael Jackson is to being human. It is not really illustrating the romance story I am seeking.

Yeah "The Notebook" One of my favorite movies ever. *tear*

And "A Walk top Remember", "Titanic" You know the usuals

I read a really nice book called, "Jason and Kyra" By Dana Davidson.

And a book that turned out to be surprisingly good was, "True to the game" By Teri Woods. You have to be a bit open minded about it though.

Some of these may or may not fit the type of stuff you're looking for.

I'm sure I have others, I'll think and post later.

Uhm actually probably wont fit the type you're looking for.

That film rocked. Not a perfect film, but very, very good. I appreciated it more as a film about Shakespearean language, our language, and such more than a romance, though. Not that it failed at the romance.

      Transformers has kissin' in it.
