I don't even know if this is anything to do with what you're talking about but the video game for Playstation Two called Final Fantasy X has a great romantic story line. Just thought I'd like to point that out. |

Hello, |

Yes, it was. I thought the same. Her name is Yuna, but the girl should really be Rikku because she is much prettier than Yuna. |

I considered Notebook; it comes close but as close as Michael Jackson is to being human. It is not really illustrating the romance story I am seeking. |
Yeah "The Notebook" One of my favorite movies ever. *tear* |
See what I mean? It is hard to find... how come most romance is about falling hopelessly in love before even knowing the person? Or focusing on the power of love? Why not what love is and how it can empower the interdependence between two people? |
Hmm well I understand what you are wanting more clearly now. |
"A Walk to Remember" is not what he's looking for. |
I recommend two Ingrid Bergman movies: Notorious (directed by Hitchcock,) and Casablanca. Two of the finest complex love story movies I've ever seen. |

Casablanca? |
You want a happy ending or sad? |
Casablanca is actually the complete polar opposite of what I am looking for. Casablanca's love story isolates in the unconditional love that just miraculously occurs (they don't even know each others names for a while or what each other does for a living, etc.). |

Love Story is a tear-jerker. Too corny? |

I'm trying to think of some of my favorite love stories. Requiem for a Dream is a phenominal love story I think anything where the male (I guess it could be female) decides they're resolved to stick by their loved one even in unrealistically hard times or resigning to a fate that most people couldn't Like, the notebook (puts on flame shield) is kind of cool in that the old dude chooses to live with his wife with dimensia and simply will not give up trying to get her to remember. |

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
