      Alvin & The Chipmunks

I might be going to see this movie on either Wednesday night or Thursday night?
Has anyone seen it and is it any good?
I LOVED the chipmunks growing up as a kid so I think I'll probably like the movie.

      Do a reality check.

I had the choice between seeing this movie and I Am Legend... and I went to see I Am Legend, and I Am Disappointed.

^^ Seriously?? Why were you disappointed with that one? I haven't seen it yet but like most people thought it (I Am Legend) looked good in the previews.

As for the chipmunks movie... I'm sorry, but that looks like another flop.

I dunno, just didn't seem like there was much too it. But maybe thats just me. It wasn't a bad movie, but I probably wouldn't see it again.

Acually, It's already made $45 million. What the hell is wrong with the people who go to see movies like this?

Yeah I saw that on rottentomatoes.com (despite the terrible ratings). Meh, I guess there's just a shortage of kid-friendly films, so when one comes out everyone flocks to them with their kids. It's a theory.

Yeah, don't take your kids to see 'The Golden Compass', it'll make them renounce God.

I am fed up with all these CG movies.

First they anthropomorphised toys (Toy Story), ants (Antz), the entire insect kingdom (Bug's Life), cars (uh, Cars), penguins (I'm getting tired of this), bees (uh, creatively titled Bee Movie) about a hundred other things and now we have CG chipmunks. GET A NEW IDEA. What next? Stapler? E. Coli? Abstract concept of pity?

They are all woefully dreadful, too.

Actually I thought Toy Story and Cars were awesome. You can't blame Toy Story anyway since it was the first of its kind (I.. think...).

But yeah, it's a totally different story when they go around ruining old classics like Alvin and the Chipmunks. What next.. Tom and Jerry with Adam Sandler thrown in??

Shhhh, stop talking about it or someone from Hollywood might overhear and decide to produce the thing.

      Yeah, no lie right?

We'll just tell them that we are already in the process of making the movie ourselves and that we have the copyright for it, therefore they WON'T be able to do it.

Damn Hollywooders all up in our stuff.

I saw it last night! I LOVED it!! I was nervous because it only got a rating of 25% on rottentomatoes, but considering I have been a chipmunk fan since I was a baby, my rating is 100%. Theodore was the BEST part, he was incredibly adorable. I am definitely buying this movie as soon as it is released to DVD!

If I had the choice between seeing the Chipmunks and having dental surgery, I'd pick the surgery.

She has a point, it's a good film.
