I'm learning "Pull Me Under" on the guitar. I still have to figure out the riffing after the chorus. |

Anybody else here listen to Dream Theater or any kind of progressive metal? I heard it one day and it's really changed the way I think of music, especially the guitar. I can't wait for their new album, AND they're coming to Florida in July! It's only a 2 and a half hour drive and the seats aren't seats, but a floor where you have to stand (for $35, anyways) but I'm still excited. I hope they play Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence... |

Can you see me now?
my friend is really into them - we've seen them twice... i think their ballads are boring as crap but they have their amazing moments. |

Actually, I love Symphony X. Unfortunately, I think they're going to be in Asia for the rest of the year. What I love about progressive metal is the epics. It seems no other style of rock really does epics. I also like bands like Dio and Kamelot. |

Tool is prog metal and they're flippin great live. i think they're making another round soon, too. |

Replicon: That is the best one of that series I've seen so far, except for when Hitler got banned from Xbox Live. |

I like a few of their songs, in fact a fellow DV member suggested them to me, but I don't really dig their sound all that much. I'm more a symphonic metal kind of guy. I do like Kamelot and Iced Earth and the like. |
