The Thin Red Line
The more I see this the better it gets. It's gotta be one of my very top war movies now. Debating if it knocks Apocalyspe Now off. I don't know if it does quite that, but it's spectacular nonetheless.

Fantastic Planet, animated French sci-fi that won top honors at Cannes in 1973. A gorgeous, fascinating movie both visually and in terms of the story and themes. I can't believe it took me this long to see it.
This is one of the few movies that I just had to turn off within the first hour. It was just so incredibly boring for me. As a war movie, I didn't feel it brought anything new to the table. Apocalypse Now is one of my all-time favorites though.
I just saw The Color of Money again and it was awesome, even better than I remembered.

Just stayed up till 1am watching Vanilla Sky for the 10th time. Still fucking amazing.
I am at work.. so havent read through all of the posts, if this one has already been mentioned a lot sorry.
I watched "The Surrogates" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwTJ7mCcFoY )i really enjoyed it, i thought it was pretty clever, i guess i would have liked a little more action, but that wasnt really the point of the movie so it wasnt exactly neccesary.
Definitley worth watching.. 8/10
The Rock it was awesome
Without A Paddle. You'll like it if you like Eurotrip, Road Trip, Hangover or any similar trips... (recommend if you got one) ;)
Just finished watching Sherlock Holmes. Enjoyable movie, especially since I watched it in English this time (watched it in Russian with some friends a week and a half ago; Heavens, I love Ireland, but that's besides the point). Witty, but not over the top. Not exactly a duplication of the literature, but oh well. A fun flick.
Before that, I watched Avatar twice. Once yesterday and once on... Tuesday. I could watch it again. Loved it! I'm definitely not one of those crazies needing a "Depressed because Pandora doesn't exist" support group, but I thought it was inspiring to say the least.
Sherlock Holmes: plot and action were a bit over-the-top, but Downey & Law were brilliant in it.
Moon: quality.
Legion it was pretty good but it was a bit like dawn of the dead.
Just saw A Haunting in Connecticut.
I thought it was pretty kick ass, good story, they did a good job telling it.
just watched surveillance and i will give it a very strong 7.
i recommend you watch it

Primer. I've watched this... five times now? I feel like I'm getting something new out of it every time I watch it.
The Pregnancy Pact on Lifetime.
Teenage girls are fucked up.
Sad seeing as I am in that age group.
Science of Sleep. It was surreal, and I liked that, and it had things that I could really relate to, so I quite enjoyed it.
yea that's a great one, i'd like to get it on bluray
same with eternal sunshine but i don't think either of them have been released yet
I've been hoping that Eternal Sunshine would be on TV so I could record it but it hasn't been so yet :/ maybe I'll just rent it.
Anyhoo I just watched Silence of the Lambs, great movie.
Yeah... just rent it.
Can't go wrong with buying it either
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Wes Anderson sure knows how to make me chuckle.
The good, the bad and the ugly- I really need to watch this movie all the way through. I only saw the last half, but I really liked it.
Transporter 1 and 2- over the top action movies are always fun to watch...especially when the fight and driving scenes are well choreographed.
Robocop.
Haaaaaaah.
Resovoir Dogs.
That was real cool. Tarentino's got a unique style for sure.
