Just installed Myst IV: Revelations.
Never get over how beautiful and live the environment in these games can be. In the first part of the game, you can look out a window and see trees blowing in the wind, butterflies, birds flying around, leaves being blown around in the wind, the water rippling below. Good stuff man.
I've been hooked on Rome total war for awhile now. One of the best games I've played in the past was probably Dragon Age Origins. My favorite horror game of late is Dead Space 1. Resident evil is and will most likely remain my favorite game series for a little while longer...if they don't make resident evil 2 remake and continue with the shit they have been producing lately I will have to turn my back on them though.
God of war ascensions. I'm a bit confused as to the prequel aspect of the game, anyone care to help?
As I remember it, part 1 took place before he broke his oath to Ares, but this one takes place after that, yet its a prequel...
I start bioshock infinite tomorrow.
Myst III ad Myst IV are by far the best puzzle games ever made. I think I've finished both like 10 times each. They are so immersive and intensive, I love the spire level, it's the best one out of the entire series. I think I'm gonna instal it now just to do it all over again.Quote:

Anywayz I been addicted to Rift for ages but have taken a break from gaming altogether. Need to get on with real life and stop wasting time in front of the computer.
But I'm sure once Skyrim Online comes out I will undoubtedly be glued to the screen again... at least for a while
Started playing Tomb Raider last night, although my computer can barely run it. I've also been playing the Feed the Beast Minecraft mod which is intimidating (there's just so much you can do and I don't know if it would be possible to master it all), but it's fun because there's always something new to figure out. And like always I've been playing L4D2.
The new Tomb Raider is really weird compared to the other Tomb Raider games. I first thought Legend was really cinematic-y, then when Underworld came out I felt like it was half a movie because there were so many long cut scenes. But this Tomb Raider makes even Underworld look like Tomb Raider IV in how much game play there is. Instead of wandering around, exploring and solving puzzles, it's largely just an interactive movie. There's a cut scene like every 3 minutes, after you accomplish anything really, and nothing has been challenging at all yet. I just hope it gets a bit harder and the cut scenes slow down after a while. I like exploring and solving intricate puzzles, but it's been far too obvious where to go so far and the puzzles have been too simple. She also has to eat, sleep, hunt, make fires, etc. It isn't bad, it's just different. I'm afraid that unique lone exploration feeling that Tomb Raiders IV and below give is pretty much gone forever. It's like there's just too much action or something, so I can't relax and figure things out. And my computer compensates for the fact that it can't handle the the game by making the FPS kind of shitty, so even when there is a puzzle to solve, I don't feel free to just look around everywhere and make sense of everything. The FPS isn't that bad with the graphics turned down, but it's bad enough that even looking around a room to figure out what to do is kind of frustrating.
Finished Bioshock Infinite. It was pretty much as amazing as people said it would be. It's beautiful visually, fun gameplay and a great mind distorting story.
I'm seriously considering replaying it just to get a better grip on the story, I'm absolutely certain that there are a countless things that will now make so much more sense on a second playthrough. I'd recommend this game just for the story.
Only thing I don't like about it is that it's one of those first person shooters with a specific attitude towards shooters: I like to feel that weapons are powerful. I like the idea that if I shoot someone, they die. And I like the idea that if I get shot at, I'm in a hell of a lot of danger. But Bioshock is one of those games that likes to throw enemies at you that can take heaps of bullets before they drop. It's remedied by the fact that the enemies that have the most health are also unique and you play very differently against them. But for regular enemies I always feel like slapping the game if - upon shooting them in the head with a sniper rifle - their helmet just falls off.
Now I'm considering playing Bioshock 1 and 2...

Bioshock Infinite, Haven't beat it yet, but my guess is that you are a fake memory or reality... not sure, trippy game though.
Pulled out my old Syphon Filter for PSX. Used to be one of my favorite games back then. Night vision sniper rifle, virus scanner that see through solid objects, head shots... Sweet memories.

Bioshock Infinite, just started. I have no idea what's going on.
I've been trying this game called Calculus 2. The only problem is that you have to download each section at the local college. Once you do though, you can take it home, but it's a hard game so far.
There is no easy mode but I heard that using cheat codes prevents you from downloading any other games from that same college.
i got crysis 3 the new one, from a game like that i excpected way better it was soooooo shit it cost $100 but i didnt even get a quarter of the way through it and i stopped playing and went back to BF3. witch is weird beacouse number one and two were realy realy good they took away free roam in the new one though thats why i reckon it sucked so much

I made some experiences in that game, with more than 10 incredibly mature players who take the game damn serious, in my fireteam, that i will never forget.

1 bullet could end your life and an IED could blow your whole team into pieces.
Those missions can take almost 8 hours which is ridiculously long, but is always exciting and never boring.

I am still deciding whether to buy StarForge ( many people say its a true scam, sure its alpha but they say theres even fewer features than in older f2p versions)
or overgrowth, a really gory animal kung fu fighting game with incredible mechanics and physics.
i was thinking about buying arma 3 alpha but i dont want to buy it just to not be able to play it on my crap computer.
maybe someone can help me with that decision?

Thinking on trying to go for hardcore diablo. Kinda miss the fun of the challenge it was back in the first days (pre-nerf inferno), and where was little amount of decent gear in ah. I think pre-nerf inferno is MP3? Just need to decide on the class, probably Witchdoctor.
Just played through that game in one sitting. My finger is killing me. If Diablo II was a ten Diablo III is a solid five. It was way too easy. And the DRM SUCKS... I timed out while fighting Diablo twice and had to start over. The story was better though, and the graphics were pretty.
I used to play a Hardcore Wizard character. Died at level 47 due to a computer crash right after attacking a group.Quote:

I've been going back to Dishonored a bunch. I'm not sure why but I apparently really like that game. I have completed it now I think four times although I am not sure if that's the actual number. First where I played normally, getting Low Chaos. Then one with High Chaos, then a Clean Hands / Ghost / Shadow (Never get spotted and kill nobody) playthrough, then a Mostly Flesh and Steel (Not upgrading skills) speedrun-esque thing. And also two playthroughs of The Knife of Dunwall.
