I got Dark Souls II for my birthday. It certainly lives up to its reputation of being hard as balls, though some of its reputed difficulty seems to stem from players being careless.
In Majula (essentially your main hub), there is a hidden weapon by the cliffs. It's really easy to get if you're not an utter dolt. There's clearly a ledge you can drop to if you're careful. People are just jumping off cliffs left and right, yet here I am easing myself over and retrieving the weapon on my first try.

I'm also playing Dark Souls II. I've beaten it with one character, honestly thought it was a lot easier than the first Dark Souls, which I haven't yet completed. I'm playing through it again on a separate character. It does feel like there's a lot to do. I could go for New Game+, do PvP in a covenant or continue with my new character. Hell, even though I've beaten the game there's still two bosses I haven't killed, one of them I haven't even seen!
EDIT: Pro-tip: Get Adaptability. It boosts agility which makes everything you do faster and gives you more invincibility frames when rolling. I should try to do a character where I put no points in adaptability, to see how big of a difference it makes. I mean maybe I'm just super boss at dodging :P
Have you met The Pursuer yet? If you've seen him, there's a video you just have to see~

I just started Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs last night. I played with all the lights out for 1.7 hours. I was absolutely terrified, but... there is no courage without fear! I kept repeating that line to myself... Those games are very good and making you feel like something terrifying is going to happen around every corner. But so rarely does anything actually happen, that you never get used to it.

Well... I dare you to play Uno in the dark all by your self!

I finally bought Rune Factory 4 and I am loving it. (I like light resource management and the feeling of being a part of a world.) I generally play it to block out the noise of my roommates to help manage my stress/tension.

Final Fantasy XII, a bit old i know, but i love it!

Last week I started a new playthrough of Fallout New Vegas via Steam. Wow, what a great game. I plugged in a ton of mods with the result that my game crashes constantly, yet I'm still moved to keep playing. I wish I could get half the mods I'm using to work without crashing, especially considering my system is actually decent right now, but the game is compelling enough that I largely just don't care.

been playing starcraft 2 whilst waiting for a better game to come along.
in a couple of days I'll be playing Black Gold Online which is a new MMORPG in open beta.

I'm still playing Fallout NV. Today I made the tough decision to throw away ten hours of gameplay and go back to an earlier save just so I could save the monorail. You'd think I would have remembered how tricky that quest was. The game's not crashing quite as much since I uninstalled the Electro City mod, which was kind of half-assed anyway. Night is seriously dark without the extra light sources, though. The only mods I'm married to are Project Nevada and the Willow companion (which is really impressive and adds a ton of content on its own), and maybe Nevada Skies for weather. I'm using the highest def texture pack, too, but I honestly don't know how much I'd notice if I stepped down to the medium sized textures or even went back to stock. Sometimes you come across some interesting fan-made locations, too, from Nevada Interiors, but those are mostly just novelty. I haven't set foot in New Vegas yet, and I'm looking forward to checking out The Strip Open and Open Freeside, which get rid of all the "loading" gates in those areas and turn them into one big map. I'll probably hop on the monorail tomorrow.

Metro: Last Light has been sitting on my PS3 from when it was free on PSPlus, and I finally got around to playing through--very cool game. It's dark as hell, probably moreso than any other post-apocalyptic game I've played, but it's a great story.

Back on EVE Online after a long break.
-
Recently I finished the Lemmings & Oh no more Lemmings! and I'm currently taking a break! Before that I was playing Tomb Rider - Underworld, and before that some Call of Duty and... I forgot what was its name but it was same sort of first person shooter.
-
Starcraft 2...Beat the first mission liked it but taking a break cause it loads kinda slow on my computer. Think I need to download it all first... :)

nothing like LFD2 for me :)

Borderlands 2 was another PSPlus freebie from a few months ago, and I just played a MARATHON. Basically, level 1 to 20 in one sitting, and I'm not sure I'm done yet. At this point I've been up for a couple full days, easily. It's a really fun, funny game. As I hit level 19-20, where a major in-game event happens, I suddenly got deja vu hardcore--I think I must have watched a video of someone playing through a couple of run-around-town quests at that level, because they were totally familiar, even though everything up until then was new to me.
Anyway, good game so far--great sense of humor. Scooter cracks me up constantly.

I kinda like starcraft 2 but think I'm gonna switch between that and diablo 3... :)
-
Playing Counter strike: GO. Just got demoted to nova 3

I've been getting back into Starcraft 2 ladder the last couple days. I pulled out an oldie last week, too--Empires: Dawn of the Modern World. For historical RTS, I still haven't found one I like better, though ultimately it just sent me running back to SC2 to play against some humans.

I have been playing Madden. But that is just until Destiny releases on September 9th :D

I am currently playing Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. I will be getting Destiny tomorrow :D
