Heh, I've had a soiled, wrinkled copy of JTHM #1 hanging in an oversize, crooked frame behind cracked glass somewhere in my home (various places) for about a decade now. |

I just got into some of Jhonen Vasquez's stuff (watched Invader Zim since I was 6) and I found a limited preview of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and it's spin-off (Squee!) on Google Books. Absolutely love it. What do you guys think? |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
lol, is that supposed to be a frame? I'd really just like to finish reading it, because I only got the limited part on Google Books. From what I've been told, he eventually ends up dying and going to hell, but I saw no part of that. |

I also have the first comic on my bookshelf, and only the first comic. |

I found Squee preferable to JTHM, and the back-up stories ("meanwhile..."s, PSAs, happy noodle boy, wobbly headed bob) best of all. I haven't read anything he's done since Squee, but some of Zim is brilliant (while some is feces). |
