Assange Espionage Act Indictment ‘Imminent’ -- News from Antiwar.com
tl;dr Assange is gonna be tried under the Espionage Act. Oh, the injustice.
This doesn't actually make any sense because Anonymous is anyone who wants to fall under the label; it isn't an actual group of people that can be found and documented.
Now I want to know; what are we all prepared to do if Assange is successfully indicted for espionage?
Shoot him so the government can never take him alive!
They're a bored group of mostly-teenagers that have better things to do than troll one dude on an admittedly obscure forum. You'll notice a pattern of hunting down people who kill cats and people who try to censor anything in any way, but you aren't going to get a massive swarm of angry assholes on your tail for calling them losers. They call each other losers every day of the year.
No, they won't. They aren't good enough to hack my system, they could try for hours in their mom's basement drinking Mountain Dew and wishing they weren't twenty year old virgins and not even get past my router. Even if they manage to get my IP, they'll never make it past my 4 step firewall, each step has a different password and submask. My computer won't even respond to unauthorized pings.
I'm not a slow duck when it comes to hacking either. If you have friends in that group, tell them to bring it on, and see how fast I can torch their computer.
He's not my freind, I just know him. They probably won't even try to do anything, but they don't have lives so they might...
They won't because hacking into a personal computer is a hell of a lot harder than hacking a web server. The guys from that group are no where near good enough to hack a regular personal computer, let alone one with the level of security I have.
In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Agreed as well. Every country has its share of dirty laundry, but the fact that wikileaks is being demonized by the media (thanks gov.) makes me wonder what else they are covering up.

Yes.
Be suspicious when the U.S justifies an internet censorship law, a war on Pakistan, or a war on Iran. No documents against Israel, no documents about the heroin in Afghanistan, no documents about 9.11. It stinks a bit foul to me.
I think this on topic enough to share:

I know this is just a prediction, but I think something like this is bound to happen. With the increasing likelihood of cyber crimes and cyber warfare, the establishment will use this as an excuse to take away the right of freedom of information on the internet. The whole Wikileaks controversy may cause the first sparks. It will be interesting to see what develops out of all this.
