I never thought of myself as a that, but as a this--sad as it is.
INFP, tested that way a few times now. Also a number 9 on the Enneagram of Personality (hence the name :P)
What a coincidence. That's the name I made up for my character's custom class in Oblivion.
What a load of ints..
I see myself more of a long or a double..
Also: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am an ENTP. Sharing a personality type with Gary Gygax and Steve Jackson, I am obviously better than the rest of you sods.
Ok, let's settle this once and for all with the PhilosopherStoned Scale of Awesomeness, The PSSA!
I, N, T, and P each get you 25 points.
E, S, F, J each lose you 75 points.
So, INTP = 100 points.
ENTP, INTJ, etc get you zero points.
ESTP would get you -100 points.
Then add 300 to that and divide by 400 to normalize between 0 and 1.
So I'm a full 1 of awesomeness.
Spockman and Photolysis are only 3/4's of awesomeness.
This creates a definitive and objective scale of awesomeness.
The maths checks out. Darn.
I would expect as much from someone that's only 3/4 awesome.
INFP. I lose. :[
Not necessarily. You're still 3/4 awesome. That's better than a lot of people! Chin up lad. Your glass is only 1/4 empty.
The higher percentage of Introverts seems to make sense, being dreamers and whatnot.
Introverted (I) 54.29% Extroverted (E) 45.71%
Intuitive (N) 60.98% Sensing (S) 39.02%
Thinking (T) 51.52% Feeling (F) 48.48%
Perceiving (P) 55.88% Judging (J) 44.12%
Your type is: INTP
INTP - "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. The world exists primarily to be understood. 3.3% of total population.
Spoiler for WTF http://forums.mydigitallife.info/vb4...someSmiley.png:
Since this thread is still going on I'll report that I'm a long-time INTJ ("the scientist"). But while my N, T, and J have been consistently pronounced, it seems that my I has been drifting slowly toward E over the past several years, making me increasingly close to being ENTJ ("the executive"). But thankfully not quite there yet (it seems a strange characterization to me).
Say what you will about the MBTI -- and believe me, it's definitely been said -- but at the very least it appears to have good test-retest reliability.
Just took it and got ISTJ, or INTJ, since I got 50-50 on sensing and intuitive.
Introverted (I) 81.82% Extroverted (E) 18.18%
Sensing (S) 50% Intuitive (N) 50%
Thinking (T) 54.05% Feeling (F) 45.95%
Judging (J) 57.58% Perceiving (P) 42.42%
ISTJ - "Trustee". Decisiveness in practical affairs. Guardian of time- honored institutions. Dependable. 11.6% of total population.
INTJ - "Scientist". Most self-confident and pragmatic of all the types. Decisions come very easily. A builder of systems and the applier of theoretical models. 2.1% of total population.
ISFJ, but sometimes when I take different ones I am a INFJ but usually it is ISFJ.
I am the Guardian/Protector
Extroverted (E) 57.58% Introverted (I) 42.42%
Sensing (S) 52.63% Intuitive (N) 47.37%
Thinking (T) 56.76% Feeling (F) 43.24%
Judging (J) 59.38% Perceiving (P) 40.63%
Your type is: ESTJ
ESTJ - "Administrator". Much in touch with the external environment. Very responsible. Pillar of strength. 8.7% of total population.
I'm an INFJ.
100% introspective, and Feeling/Thinking is basically 50/50.
Of the people I've heard talk about the Myers-Brigg, I have heard tell many times by different types of people they think INTJs are most likely to be the most intelligent of the types. Make of that what you will, it is an observation I have heard more then once. INTP is supposed to be very intelligent, as well. I wonder what it is about introverts. Maybe they are more self-reliant and so put more faith in their own brain?
I took it again and I'm INTJ again.
Introverted (I) 86.67% Extroverted (E) 13.33%
Intuitive (N) 54.55% Sensing (S) 45.45%
Thinking (T) 58.97% Feeling (F) 41.03%
Judging (J) 61.29% Perceiving (P) 38.71%
But again I'm horrified by how terrible a lot of the questions are, so I don't give these much credit. I think I perceive more than I judge. What questions gave the test the idea that I'm more judgmental than perceptive? Or maybe it means something different. And why did I get only 86.67% for introverted? I answered definitely yes to every question to do with social skills. Would it be possible to get 100%?
I took another one and got this, INTJ again:
Personality test based on Jung and Briggs Myers typology
Introverted 95%
Intuitive 62%
Thinking 25%
Judging 22%
I guess I'm almost definitely INTJ. I'd like to know what the J and P really mean though, which questions influence them.
I think I got something like 100% introverted on that particular test, but it's partly because you have to pick an answer when the real world is more complicated (as you mention earlier on).
As far as I know, it's questions like "Are you late for appointments?"" or "Do you like planning things in advance?" that determine between INTJ and INTP. For Js, being on time and planning is important, not so much so for Ps.
