^That's the most recent one, poopman.
As I explained on the last one, I'm an INTP and am hence superior to everyone that isn't an INTP because when they sent people back in time to have Darwin and Einstein take the test, they were INTPs too. Hence I'm like Einstein and Darwin and we my conclude that I'm also one of the greatest geniuses to ever live.
The rest of you suck (unless you're an INTP too in which case, you are also one of the greatest geniuses to ever have lived).
EDIT:
Also, @poopman. You should be glad that I'm not a mod because if I was, I would ban you from posting anywhere except in senseless banter. Just saying...
You are obviously intelligent and should know that what you're saying is only somewhat (arguably) true generally, and that the certainty you're preaching it with is complete bs. It seems you just like to say things that will bother people to see their reactions (ie. troll in a slightly more intelligent way than most). Although I fail to see why you find it entertaining.
INTP
but seriously Im not a big fan of my personality being confined to this label. Im honestly different people from one day to the next.
How is it only somewhat true that along with Einstein and Darwin, I and all other INTPs are among the two greatest geniuses to ever live?
And also, often times, my "trolling" is making a point. That is, what I am saying is either true as I perceive it, or complete BS with a point to it. I challenge you to go call me out on trolling some place where you think that the case is otherwise.
Nope. I'm not a troll. I am a smartass. Or a dumbass depending on your perspective. I got banned, unfairly, for trolling and so, being a smartass, I decided to rock a troll avatar. I'm probably going to switch back to my old one soon. If you ever spend any time on the Island, which I doubt, you'll get my user title too.
The point here is that these tests fulfill our primary need to feel superior to other people. So because they went back in time and tested Einstein and Darwin, all of us INTPs get to feel superior to people. As I said on the other thread, you'll have to find your own reason to feel superior to other people because "we come up with all the good ideas" is already taken.
I'm pretty sure Einstein and Darwin were declared INTPs because their personalities (or at least people's perception of those personalities) closest fit the description of an INTP.
Tbh, I lol'd @ "But you have boobs, right?" :P

You smart folk are so intimidating; whenever I post in Extended Discussion, I ready myself for blowback. :[
Okay, I get that idea from most of your posts. But from many it honestly seems to me that you're trying to evoke a particular reaction from someone because it entertains you for whatever reason, like the "But you have boobs, right?" post, and in that same thread if I'm remembering correctly, your proposal that Raspberry cooks and cleans for you. I got the feeling you were trying to give her negative attention because she had just been getting so much positive attention, ultimately because it entertained you, with some more detail my mind made up which is pointless to say because I’m likely wrong about the whole thing. There are other examples, but I might be wrong about it all. In my experience I've been terrible and judging these types of things about people.
So with this, which one is it? Do you really think what you said or are you mocking those people who use these tests to feel superior?
Dianeva, PhilosopherStoned says these things as a sort of parody in order to point out the flaws in certain modes of thinking. I, for one, find his postings to be quite delightful. I suppose I can't expect you to understand that though. After all, you're not an INTP.
I realize he often tries to make a point, but he tends to choose to do it in ways that are likely to bother people. As I've said before on the other thread, those tests are flawed or made for people whose personality traits are more easily identifiable than mine.
Because you're special, right?
It's a fact that I had trouble answering a lot of the questions because the real answer is too complicated. In many cases I could have chosen anywhere from the lowest to the highest radio box depending on what aspect of my life I was considering. It's also a fact that I don't see many other people making the same complaints (there were a few after I made my post in that other thread). Maybe I am different from the majority, maybe my personality traits are more complicated than most people's, but whether or not I feel 'special' because of it is irrelevant to whether or not it's true. Anyway, I think it's also pretty likely that the tests themselves are flawed and that most people just checked the first box that seemed right to them before realizing or caring that it might be more complicated.
Admit it- you think you're better than everyone else!
Perhaps the tests don't NEED such complex answers, because any complex response you could give would be reduced to simpler thought processes, which make up your personality. So while you may have felt that you needed to write out an intimate response to any of the questions, you would not have needed to as the range of personality types are limited anyway and these tests are only capable of giving you rough percentages on each spectrum of your personality, so the possible answers for each question can be condensed into a few options.
If I related mostly to one answer, and the real answer was a bit more complicated, that would make sense. This is a perfect example, if you were to ask "do you think you're better than everyone else?" the answer would be complicated. In one sense, I strongly do think that. In another, I strongly believe the opposite. So I'd choose a box near the middle, but that wouldn't represent my situation well because the middle box is more for people who are neutral about the question and don't have much of an opinion on it. It was situations like that I kept running into.
In general, those tests I'm sure do highlight personality tendencies. I'm not sayng they're complete failures. I'm definitely introverted, and it caught that.
I'm an INTJ. Is anyone here really that surprised?
I had you pegged for an ESFP.
Ah well, I should at least get bonus points for having some INTP leanings. In fact, I demand said bonus points.
Sure, they're not perfect, but you wouldn't expect that when you try and distil something as varied as human personality into 16 categories. However, I found the test to be extremely useful because I found that, hey, there's a whole bunch of people who think in an almost identical way to myself, which was a pretty profound discovery. Being able to point friends and family to the INTJ page on wikipedia is also very helpful, because most don't understand my thought processes and the way I view the world, as they're completely different from the way everyone else I know. Not to mention that the test also legitimises this position somewhat.Quote:

Hi,
I'm an INFP who knows how to ENFP a little when the situation really demands it, I can talk the hind leg of a donkey, but my internal world is still more comfy :)
Intp
;-)
I took it again today and it gave me INTJ.
