Someone who smokes salvia is extremely confused, finds him/her-self in a maniacal dream, has laughing kicks and experiences the unimaginable. After at max. 40 minutes he or she will be completely back to baseground.
I don't see the problem there. Yopo is Legal too and so are most, if not all Ayahuasca plant ingredients that Contain NN, DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, 5-OH-DMT or a combination thereof. The only thing illegal is the preparation and consumption of Ayahuasca, in almost every country except my own, and the extracted, pure form of these substances.
However the raw plantsources are legal pretty much all over the world. And why DMT, this bizarre, amazing, but totally harmless, body-own substance is illegal is a puzzle to me.
BTW Admins & Mods: What are you gunna do when you see a Topic in the order of " What's your favourite alcohol drink?" or "How many beers before you drop down on the ground?". Would that not be seen as risky and provocative?

Banning discussion would be downright irrational. Regardless of the connotations drawn to salvia due to societys ignorance, the facts still stand, the discussion of salvia is legitmate.

They don't close it because it is the only thread where we can voice our opinion about the decision to ban drug discussion. They know that if they closed it we will feel silenced and angry, and the staff cares about our feelings so they didn't close it. They care about our feelings both because they are nice, and because they want us to still feel a part of the community inspite of this dispute, and stay in the forum instead of leaving it.Quote:

Just to point out, my original intent wasn't really for us to discuss what happens on drugs, but rather how you feel about them. I had no clue that there was some big retarded controversy about it. Personally I don't like this topic any more, its bringing up ugly feelings amongst DV members.
