Recently I've dug deeper and deeper into politics and the lies they spread as truth to everyone, One man who is guilty of that is Mr. Al Gore.

I've looked around and well, believe it or not, global warming IS REAL, im not denying global warming, its real, and its a slight threat.

Now, the problem I see is WHAT CAUSES IT....thats where mr.gore exhibits his expert knowledge of fear-mongering as do the republicans also.

CO2 does NOT cause any significant warming, of all the co2 in the air today, humans have created about 3% of all co2 in the atmosphere...thats right...THREE FUCKING PERCENT.

Now, al gore breaks out the fancy co2 chart that shows temp going up when co2 goes up...nice chart, if it wasn't total farce.

From 1900-1940 the climate warmed and co2 levels rised. BUT, from 1940-1980 the climate COOLED while co2 levels continued to rise


co2 is hardly a greenhouse gas, it hardly absorbs or traps heat.


Also, when you think about the glaciers melting, what causes them to melt?

I HIGHLY doubt that warmer air can melt a 2 mile thick ice sheet thats god knows how deep under water and how wide.

The reason the ice melts is because the OCEANS are warming, not the air!

there are two theories as to what REALLY, causes the warming


#1 the earth's core is warming
#2 the sun is outputting more energy

or both


The reason people like Al Gore and John Mccain talk about carbon taxes and go out and buy a 43,000 dollar hybrid is for political and personal gain. NOTHING MORE.


We already have it bad financially, can you imagine paying a carbon tax on co2 which doesn't even freaking warm the planet?

the reason all these 'scientists' are agreeing with gore and mccain and clinton is because often times, scientists have to withold information and are intimidated to keep silent.


Co2 Global warming is just another tool, to scare the people of the world to give up their little remaining money and freedoms, so they can institute a one world government by scaring people to death about how the oceans are going to rise 100 feet and florida is going to be under water...SUCH NONSENSE.........by 2100 the ocean level will rise aprox. 7-8 inches..thats all

Ok, first of all, this topic has been posted at least three times before on this board. But ok, I'll bite (for now).

Since you are going against the trend, why not show some supportive numbers... perhaps some that aren't supplied by those tied to big oil?

Conventional wisdom goes with the below percentages for contribution to the "greenhouse effect":

Water Vapor : 36-70%
C02 : 9-26%
Methane : 4-9%
Ozone : 3-7%

So yes, C02 contributes.

So where do you get your 3% from? Here is the conventional wisdom:

C02 has risen 35% since the beginning of the age of industrialization.

If not from man, from where?

And last of all, why does everyone who wants to deny our part in Global Warming have to talk about Al Gore as if he were the only one concerned with it? Some of us were concerned long before his movie came out. Throwing hatred his way does nothing to counter any science presented by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

Not to mention: the National Science Academies of the G8+5 nations, the Committee on the Science of Climate Change of the National Research Council, the American Meteorological Society, UK's Royal Meteorological Society, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), The American Geophysical Union, the American Institute of Physics, the American Astronomical Society, the Network of African Science Academies, the American Physical Society, the National Center for Atmospheric Research, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Geological Society of America, the Federation of American Scientists, the Canadian and Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Societies, the European Geosciences Union, the International Union of Geological Sciences, the American Chemical Society, the Stratigraphy Commission of the Geological Society of London, and even Bush's Federal Climate Change Science Program, among others... all of whom agree.

But of course you have two scientists, so all of those must be wrong.

nature makes much more co2 then we even could dream of competing with.


co2 isn't the major cause, its such a small contribution, that is useless to suggest that carbon caused the warming..

Like i said earlier, from 1900-1940 the co2 and temp rose
from 1940-1980 the co2 went up but the temp WENT DOWN.

also i brought up al gore because he is brainwashing the world into wasting money on "green tech" funneling more of our declining dollar's to the elite pricks who run the show.

and most of these scientists who believe co2 is the cause are FULL OF SHIT. They are intimidated into lying.



my sources, are those 2 scientists who were ignored in NYC for speaking the TRUTH, Ron Paul has spoken up about global warming being used as a political tool for 1 world government.

for me, ron paul is enough of a source, because i dont believe a fucking word liberals or neo-conservatives say anymore.

and honestly, im not going to even debate this topic, why? because Gore and others like him are LIARS and WRONG, simple fact. done.

i will not even attempt to convince anyone, why? because if your too entrenched into the propaganda then im sorry you have to pull your own head out of your own ass, im not going to do it for you, if you do not want to believe me, DON'T...i dont care!, if you want to believe fairy tales about co2 causing 90% of the warming go ahead.

9-26% seems a pretty large cause to me, that could be over a quarter of the effect.

This is a delicated topic, but I do agree with you that CO2 is not the (sole?) responsible for global warming. What happens is that global awareness is a fact, and some bitches are using it in political propaganda.

Don't let yourselves be fooled by a politician that seems good and responsible.

Finally, I want to say that CO2 is not the only product of human activity: it consists of many things, such as deforestation, ground impermeabilisation, other more toxic chemicals in the air, and such.

they both lie, and fear-monger, and they won't ever stop coming up with dragons to slay or demons to fight...they always need a fear inducing event to have their political power, to remove your civil liberties, in the name of one world government

I mean sources as in do you have anything to back up what you stated, like reliable sources for links or articles as to why CO2 isn't a big threat, or how the levels have risen only 3%.

what I don't understand about global warming is... regardless on whether or not it's happening... shouldn't we be taking all thoes steps to make sure the earth is good repair... since you know... it gives us food, water, oxygen, shelter... and if it was here neither would we.

I understand people who what to debate it but i don't understand why people won't get off there ass to give a hand to the earth when it does so much for us.


also in that three percent co2 emmission have you included the co2 that realeased from deforestation?


and wait... how can the ocean temp be rising and not the air... when the ocean make up the climate for the air....

and if the glaciers are still melt were still gonna have space issues with the sea leavel rise and were still going to loose space on earth


also due to the way the sun rays hits the earth at the equater has only warmed about .2 of a degree but in the artic they are measuing 12 degrees...
