Did you know that the penalty for homosexuality in Iran is death? Imagine what people would be saying about the Bush Administration if they had that policy. And Iran's is not like our death penalty system. They don't kill some tiny percentage of people who commit capital "crimes" and let them play the appeals game for twenty years. If somebody gets caught being gay in Iran, that person gets killed and killed very quickly. The government of Iran kills people for adultery too. I have talked a lot before about their sponsoring of mindless terrorism. Ahmadinejad wants to completely annihilate Israel too. Imagine that government with nukes. I am not saying we should go to war with them at this point in time. I am just saying not to let your sympathy for that government overflow too much.
