The idea that Trig, the down syndrome baby, may not be Sarah Palin's child but her daughter Bristol's is just starting to float around the net. A lot of news networks are not giving this play and the Democrats haven't said anything on this, however this is starting to gain some momentum on the net and I decided, "WTF, why not just look into it and see what the whackos are babbling about."
Now it turns out I'm one of the wackos that think there may be some volatility in the idea that there may be a cover-up going on here. Let me explain and PLEASE do try to keep an open mind. I'm not attacking Palin, nor am I trying to sling any dirt. I'm just confused by photo and video evidence versus what Sarah is saying.
First, Sarah said nothing to friends, co-workers or the media, and showed no signs of pregnancy when she announced she was
8 months pregnant. That's right... Let me say it again. The first time anyone knew she was pregnant was when she announced it one month prior to Trig being born.
Alaskan news outlets commented on this, but did not go further as Sarah maintained a 'no-comment' attitude about this.
Now here is the article of her at Super Tuesday (just a month before the baby was born and two days after she announced she was eight months pregnant).
And here is the picture from the article. Does she look like she is about to give birth in 3-4 weeks?
Next up, Sarah stated she leaked some water and had two contractions prior to a speech in Dallas, but ignored the signs and stayed for a few hours in Dallas after the contractions to give her speech. An aid came to her side and she then left quickly for the airport. She took a flight to Seattle, then waited for a connecting flight to Anchorage, then her husband drove her 45 minutes to their small home town hospital.
The flight was over eight hours long. She started having signs around noon, checked into her hospital around 11:30pm, and she 'delivered' the baby around midnight. She did not inform the airline that she was pregnant or how far along she was (some airlines don't let women fly if they are +7 months along)
(Quote from the Article Above):
"Governor Palin was extremely pleasant to flight attendants and her stage of pregnancy was not apparent by observation as she didn't show any signs of distress," Boren said.
Sarah Palin appeared 4 months before the baby's birth in Vogue magazine, with pictures taken when she would have been five months along. The article reported she was "trim and lithe." (sorry, can't find pics from the article)
Found a pic just after 'Super Tuesday'
Doesn't look eight months pregnant does she?
"The Damning Photo" as it's called is a picture the Palin family (minus their adult son) at home. It was printed in the Anchorage Daily News, taken six weeks before Trig's birth on March 9th.
Which one looks pregnant? Sarah or her daughter?
An Alaskan PodShow Podcast called Hike of the Week has Sarah Palin talking with the host and taking a tour of Juno, AK with the host. When this podcast was taped, she was seven and a half months pregnant. (She had not announced yet she was pregnant. How many women do you know are going to walk all over town like this?)
Sarah Palin did state that Bristol left school for an extended period of time, due to mononucleosis according to her family for the last 5 months of Trig's pregnancy. Mono kept a teenager out of school for 5 months?
(side note: Over this new pregnacy my prediction is a miscarriage.)
Add it up it sounds like there is a cover up and my problem with Palin is if she is willing to create a cover up of something so MINOR wtf will she do in office?
I was thinking about why Sarah would have her daughter fake a pregnacy. What would be to gain here? The only thing I can think of is that the Palin family could use this 'pregnacy' to say that it is proof that her daughter was pregnant at the time Trig was still developing so it couldn't be the daughter's son.
Unless Palin sees having a daughter giving birth out of wedlock a killer to her politcal career (which is based on family values and abstinance) and wanted to cover that little problem up, I just don't see what is to be gained.
Beyond that, wouldn't there be doctors and nurses that were around during the birth? Palin is the Govenor...so she doesn't have a lot of power....not nearly enough to keep hospital staff quiet. Maybe to doctor medical records but not to shut up staff.
Then again I may be wrong but the photo and video evidence is pretty damning.
